The O.C. Season 4

Yeah I've been able to see three episodes as well, and I agree that I'm glad they're probably not giong to talk about Marissa all teh time through the entire season. Still don't really see where this season will be goin, how it will work etc.. Well well, interesting to see, I guess...
 
erm...I managed to watch the first episode of season 4 the other day and wow. I thought it was horrendus...

Bad cheese. I wanted to like it but the only thing I did like was Summer! actually I like Taylor as well and think she might be good this season (as I thought she was in the last) but apart from that I was disapointed...muchly.

My biggest hate is doctor roberts. was it just me or was his acting particularly bad this ep? Kaitlyn I just found annoying, which is a shame cos i loved her last season! and Julie...well i'd read about her development on spoiler sites but it seems like her situation was tried to make humerous, which i thought was a shame cos it could've been really powerful. all it made me do as cringe, especially when the wall cabinet thing fell on her...wat the hell...and the chainsaw...

Ryan cage fighting, cheesey much? I know its the OC but Pa-lease! the whole comic book thing between Ryan and the Coens also made me cringe!


I'm certainly gonna keep watching, there really isn't much on tv that holds my interest anymore and the OC is one of my fav shows thats still 'alive'. I hope I like the rest of the season more.

Am I the only one that didn't think it was good?
 
Ok. I stand VERY corrected. Watched episode four and...its awesome!

All my problems seem to have been well and truly dealt with!

Doctor Roberts it seems may not be in it that much!
Kaitlyn's back to how good I thought she was season 3!
Julie's character development should be interesting!
Ryan cage fighting cheese has hopefully stopped!

I'm looking forward to how things are develop this season!
 
Marissa really dies?

I was sure at the end of the last season there would be some miraculous recovery/dream sequence/alien intervention so it all didn't happen.

Only question I can ask is..... how sodding miserable is Ryan going to be, blaming himself for her death by getting in with the wrong crowd ... again.... not sure I can put myslef through that much misery. Not unless it is balanced by a REALLY stoned Seth. 😉

Actually they show him copeing with it in a really realistic way, and tey do it without using storys from before, I swear it's so much better then the last series!
 
Thank god for that - it's almost enough to put you off the brooding type with all his misering! Great that they deal wioth it well - roll on the season starting on E4 in the New Year 🙂
 
I'm all update with the new episodes.

An alternative reality Oc...hmmm...I can't believe I liked it. Loved it in fact. I have only been impressed so far. (Minus that appaling first episode) Autumn Resser aka Taylor is nothing but impressive. Shes definately working her way into the limelight. Marissa who? lol.

If they can pull of an alternative reality mutual dream episode and me not find it horrendusly cheesy...I think thats proof enough that this show keeps bettering itself.
 
I did like the alternate reality episode too. Some stuff felt very unrealistic though, but with this show, I don't really care, it's still enjoyable and doesn't bug me as much as it would with other shows. And Taylor is my new favorite character (has been now for a couple of episodes), mhm.

Yeah your right I bet they saw that, then went and re shot an episode in 8 days so they could air it to!!

And it's alright when The O.C.s was much, much better!
 
I've just caught up on the new season, its one of my guilty pleasures. I must admit I prefer it without Marissa, as she annoyed me.

It totally is. These last few episodes have been so weird, but not really bad though.. Still enjoying watching it, heh.
 
The show is definetly different, But it is so much better then it was last year. And Taylor is so much better the Marissa!
 
As said by everyone, very different. I REALLY like it though. The lack of marissa is surprisingly good! And Taylor is awesome. I like the storylines as well, and the end of last episode where a certain father turns up...I think I'm in love with this cheese.

That is definitely why it's more retarded, or one of the reasons at least, heh.

I don't want Taylor to take Marissa's place. Obviously she has kind of but, I can't compare the two. Marissa was annoying though. And Taylor is awesome, mhm 🙂
