Elton John's old bassist and drummer NEVER get the credit they're due. Always burns me up.

So, much love to Dee Murray (RIP) and Nigel Olsson, who helped Elton shoot to fame in the first place. (Then he fired them in '76 because he was "experimenting" with his sound) Frankly, I don't listen to ANYTHING he did after Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy. Not. Interested.

Oh, and that film about him SUCKED.

My dog has the patience of an angel, I'm still not 100% well and accidentally fainted over her (she was lying down). Like a trooper she acted as my mattress till I came to. I mean, then she licked my face and seemed a bit confused about it, but good girl, nice to know I can count on her to catch my fall... if she happens to be in the vicinity 😛

@HowiMetdaSlayer Fun fact: Back in the day, Elton and his band partied harder and did WAY more drugs than Led Zeppelin or the Rolling Stones. I mean, they were complete heathens. 😂 But they got away with it, because:

1. They looked more "decent."
2. They weren't shagging everything that moved, like Robert Plant and Mick Jagger did.
