Might have to invest in a new dehumidifier, hopefully it'll be fine once I get around to giving it a good clean, but it's very loud now.

Well brands certainly know what they're doing these days, because I wasn't looking to buy anything in the nearest future I unsubscribed from Ralph Lauren's e-mails... guess what, now I just get e-mails from them but NOT from their regular mailing list. Now it just looks like a personal e-mail, and you can't opt out... and darn it if I don't want those cute new Polo Bear PJ's!

Unsubscribing can also lead to you getting money off dicsounts.
It looks like I need a new iron, as my current one stopped working several times during my ironing.

I've run out of dry shampoo. Think I'm going to purchase a different brand this time though.

@NotASlayer If I tried that I have no doubt someone will come up to me and say, "Who dropped a bag of flour on your head?" 😆

Ordered new shoes online. They're newer versions of ones I have now.
Usually hard for me to find comfortable shoes. So I'm hoping that these will be as good as old ones

I know the feeling! Enough so that I prefer to buy trainers in particular in person.
I am looking for an inflatable bath capable of handling hot temperatures. No luck so far.

I have seen advertising for inflatable Temu hottubs... That sounds like a recipe for people soup. Might be safer to drop a toaster in there. I'd never trust a temu tub!

A friend of mine has a small tub listed as suitable for two people and he has it inside the dining room in the winter and moves it outside in the summer. He rigged up a heater when the one on the hot tub died, and made it from a heating element and now has year-round hot tub capability. He has posted pictures of himself on What's App in the tub and I suggested he send it off to the Chippendales. He is not really their type. In fact, he is absolutely not their type although he seems to have women orbiting around him all the time.

Browsing online for punching bags as I want to take up kickboxing. I prefer to workout at my home these days rather than at a gym.

Also browsing houseplants. I have put myself on a buying ban for the foreseeable future when it comes to houseplants, I have more than I need and I was begining to feel like a collector rather than a hobbyist, but that doesn't stop me from looking. A couple more weeks and it will be warm enough during the nights for me to plant some flowers outside without worry of them freezing. That will help a lot with my plant addiction.

It's pretty easy to grow a lot of plants from cuttings, so you can get more without having to buy any!
My 2009 Subaru Legacy wagon is finally reaching the end of its days with a third wheel bearing starting to howl and 324,000 km or just over 200,000 miles on the odometer. So my girlfriend and I went to three dealerships to find a replacement. I would not buy new because of the depreciation but I went looking a three Subaru Impreza's. The first was at a Toyota dealership and when we got there, it was supposedly in the shop on a lift getting new tires and rear brakes. This is a car that was first listed a month ago and it is just getting this work conveniently when we showed up? That doesn't sound hinky at all (/sarcasm).

The next had come off lease and had a clear Carfax report. It drove nicely and seemed to be the leader.

The last one was virtually identical to the second one but had been in a couple of crashes. The price was almost identical to the second one.

I had owned a 1993 Subaru with some provenance - it had been owned by a manager at Subaru of Canada who commuted to Mississauga from Alcona, almost 100 km each way. We got it with 24,000 km on it and it had a number of Subaru optional add-ons like headlight covers and rain rails that no one, not even the dealer we got it from had seen. It lasted 232,000km and I sold it with a cracked windshield, bad brakes and a bad clutch, so we just got rid of it and got another car. It was in the amethyst colour that was popular for the first Impreza's and I wish you could still get it. I knew it was an early car to come into Canada, but from the VIN number, it was the third Subaru in Canada.

Once more into the breach. The guy with the Subaru that was in the shop called to say it was back on the lot and would we like to go see it? So I said yes and we are going out there this morning to see it. It has a bad Carfax report but it is thousands cheaper than the other two, so it might be worthwhile and also, it is blue, a colour that looks good on a Subaru.
