Nice!!! I love it!
I only have 2 tats, one of which I think is still floating in the current photo thread (or the last one) since I only got it 3 weeks ago. The one of the top of my back represents my family. My first one is on my lower back...and I have to say that there isn't any real reasoning behind it. I've wanted a tat since I was 13 and back then, I wanted a dragon. And 10 years later, I got 2 facing each other with a heart in the middle. If I can find a half decent pic I'll post it, but me taking photos of my back is like me trying to learn how to crochet....really tricky!

haha taking photos of your back is hard for anyone. Mirrors are your best bet. I hope you find a photo though so we can all see!
 
ITD, have I told you already how much I adore your tats? They're so bright and colourful and pretty! I want that too, but I'm working towards it slowly. I now have flowers under my collarbones and a skull on the inside of my arm, just under my elbow. The skull was my first and I was so excited it didn't hurt a bit 😉 I want to extend it, and get like a scroll underneath-ish, with the Latin phrase 'Memento Mori' (Or Carpe Diem, because even though they used to mean the exact opposite, for me they mean the same. Namely that life is short and you have to enjoy it). My next one is going to be a bit above the boney bit on the inside of my ankle/leg. Bats, probably. I have a design, but Alan, the tattoo guy, said it was a stupidly simple one and that he was going to make something nice out of it.
It's gonna be my first colour tat. The other are in black/grey.

I will post pics, if I can find decent ones 😉
 
I like that design the way it is, actually. Sometimes simple is the strongest, visually. But I'm sure he'll do you up something pretty.
I want to see your current tattoos though! I think I may have seen the flowers under the collar bone before, but post them anyway.

That arm I posted is my nicer arm haha my other one has some nice stuff too, but it also has some older less nice stuff.

I personally think it's smiling, but others seem to think it's an evil grin.


And about the bats, I am definitly going to get them in a different colour, I don't really like green 😉 And Alan was really enthusiastic about the idea. He makes very pretty things. I'm looking forward to what he ends up with, because he is going to have to stick to a relatively small area.
And I personally never really liked the whole Asian thing, unless it's done well. But yours definitely is. I like your back, too. I'd love to see it finished!

Blue Rose and a Sparrow. Blue was a Brothers fav color (who died, like I mentioned before), and in old sailor lore Sparrows take things away.

Sacred Heart (I really need to get this done again, its faded, but not as faded as the picture makes it look). It says I Beleive in Yesterday in the banner. Another Beatles song, that to me is about cherishing the past.

I love that they have such deep meaning! They rock!
^ I love it how all your tats have a meaning. I have mine just because I feel that on certain parts of my body, there should be tats. And I have felt that about the exact same bits of my body ever since I was, like, 5.
And YAY for Beatles tattoos! I want some Beatles lyrics somewhere on my body, but because there are so many great songs, and my favourite, or the one that means the most to me changes depending on my mood (and I may say, that is a lot), it's something for the long run.

Yeah its hard to pick song lyrics that you know for sure you'll still think the same about in the years to come.

Not ALL of my tattoos have meaning, some on my legs I got just because I wanted it and thought it would look good. I think its perfectly ok not not to have a specific meaning behind every single one.
 
Wow I see I started a very popular thread yay me.

Im still considering the tattoo have not gone of the idea or the design I posted on this thread so if I feel the same I might get it done on my 21st birthday in September that way Ive left enough time to be sure.
