Palabra smiles graciously and, leaving James to save her seat, runs off to a real-life date with her real-life hubby.

"Have a great time at the awards!" she tells everyone, then she adds, "I'll be back for the after-party!"
 
Kean strolled up the red carpet in her Dolce gown, the salty goodness of Jeffery Dean Morgan on her arm. As she goes she stops to chat with VG and Charisma...what a beautiful couple. Camera -Whore soulmates!


CONGRATS EVERYONE!!!!
 
BEG walks in Late, but in a cool way. Sit's down, but is already on his feet aplaudeing PV on her wonderfull success, "She's excellent" he says to his date Jessica Alba.

"I hope Charisma and VG arn't around, that would be arkward since I turned her down... Oh."

Their sitting at the same table...
 
*Blushing from being mentioned in PV acceptance speech she turns acknowledge wiccanslayer*

"Yes you have great taste! I love the dress you picked out for me!"

"Hi Spike! Hi Angelus!"

"I love your first outfit!!! You have great taste in clothes!"
 
BoF looked at the clock "I'm gonna have to get going now. I'm really sorry, hope you guys enjoy the rest of the night!" she smiled, and her and Nat left.
 
:goes to give Palabra congraltulatory hug but ends up hugging air as she leaves for her date with hubby:
Damn, couldn't find BOF to hug before either for the Lil Pumpkin Belly award either. What am I a leper in this town?

"Hey PV congratulations!!! Have a nice time on your date!"

*Gives her a quick hug before going on and mingling with the crowd.*
 
Doyle award

Welcome back one and all...now things are very strange backstage...I'm not sure who will be presenting it...edb and Buffy were arguing and Buffy got a knock to the head and a strange looking bag lady type showed up and I got scared...
Here's edb...or probably Buffy Summers to present the Doyle award for most missed member...

Buffy walks slowly to the podium in her J Mendel gown. Lowering the microphone (hey, we can't all be tall, can we?) she smiles to the assembled audience.

"Mr. Pointy asked me to remind everyone to please wait for the commercial breaks to post."

Looking into the camera, she pauses before continuing.

"And now the nominees for the Doyle Award for most missed member..."

Buffy looks offstage where Mr. Pointy shouts something in a low grumble peppered with profanity.

"Oh we're not announcing the nominees on this one? Oh okay, right. Well then..."

She tears open the envelope. Buffy composed herself and smiles again.

"It is my great pleasure to present this award to a very important part of this site, and a member which I personally have missed very much this year. The one, and (thank god) the only, Faith."

She applauds as she waits for Faith to come to the stage to accept her award.

Firstly thank you to everyone who nominated me and who voted for me. Its been an honor and a privilege to know you all and work with you (for those on the other side). I remember the first launch of the boards, also running up my hall to tell my flat mate that I had been asked to become a Mod. Buffy Boards isn’t just a place I ‘used to post’, its part of my heart and my spirit. When I had to step down it was the hardest decision I had to make and I’ve come and gone on a lot of boards over the years but this is one community that really cares about each other and the one place I can never fully let go.

:: wipes a tear, getting nostalgic for a moment ::

I’m proud to have seen edb’s progression from her first ever banner to where she is now, and witness Buffy Summers becoming the great leader she is today!

I’ve made some great friends who I know will be friends for life. Sadly my work has kept me off the boards for a while, how I managed a degree and a job and still be up until 3am working behind the scenes I’ll never know.

There is so much I could share with you about my time on the boards, the times you have made me laugh and those that have left me cursing at my pc and tearing my hair out. However the contract I signed in blood when I joined the staff prevents me from doing so!

In memory of Doyle and this award I would like to dedicate this award to my greatly missed friend Foos and the member I miss the most Grayson.

Alright that’s enough from me….Hey B it is an open bar right?

Hold onto your dates girls I may just steal them.’

:: smiles as she leaves stage right in the direction of the bar, clutching her award above her head and pauses turning back to the crowd ::

'Guys don't make me come back here and do some damage for talking during the ceremony, the deepest circle of hell is reserved for those who talk during the threatre, movies and award ceremonies.

...isn't it strange we give them an award for not being here and they come back...two years in a row now 🙂
