If it makes you feel better I will be working from home. But not having to go to the office is all the time off I need 🙂

That's how I've manage to do most Christmas breaks lately. And that works pretty good. Not this year though. But it's no surprise. I've known for a long time that we would have to do this thing during the break this year.
To all those who have pets, on Christmas day do you give them tit-bits from your plate? Did you know that that fatty content in Christmas fare is bad for the dogs and might kill them.
Are you on a diet? If the fatty content is to high for your pets what will it do for you?

How'd it go?

I always feel revolting when I get back from the city. I had a nice cool shower and cracked a beer. Completely forgetting that I purchased that carton for my neighbour and not for me. Whoops. Bottoms up!

I dont think i want to do christmas again, even in the limited capacity that I participated this year. I hope im brave enough to reject invites next year. Too exhausting and painful.

My neighbour had enough people drop by and call that i know he wont be lonely. The other old man will be in a nursing home by next year anyway. My neighbour said i should drop round more often, but i think that was the guiness speaking. I have to go over tomorrow to get the rest of my leftovers. Chickens and ducks will have a feast! Lol

Hmm, not so sure about the leftover Guinness.
I want to get some board games, we always play board games at Christmas and I don't have many, only Scrabble and monopoly, so looking at getting some good games.

My lads have hundreds - and I mean that literally. The youngest invests in them on Kickstarter so pays about £75 - 100 for a package that is usually twice the price when it reaches the shop. I played Azul this Christmas and enjoyed that. I think it was Board Game of the Year last year. Also played Ravensburg's Scotland Yard - also good - and it was cheap on Amazon.

I vote for Risk (and/or Game of Thrones version) & cards against humanity! 🙂

I played those board games that many times, so many times that I began to see the games as bored games.
 
Should you be able to see the date in the bottom of the bottle the chances you'll know something is wrong as you are meant to drink from the hole in the top of the bottle not look into it.

You know, I never thought of you as looking like that, I was surprised. I would never have thought of you in them type of shoes.

Microwaves are just the best, right? From frozen to hot in 4 minutes, this lobster soup was a delicious appetizer, coupled with an apple cider.
