I've just been watching some old episodes and I forgot how much I loved these guys. It was good to have some light humor in this season because of the dark undertones.

One part in particular that had me in fits was when they were fighting in the van (just before the brilliant 'hey don't touch my magic bone' quote) and the horn went off as a Star Wars tunes.

So what are your fave Trio moments form this season?

I loved them to! Atleast in the beginning. Jonathan has always been one of my favourites, I love that guy! And they were really funny! The magic bone thing was extremely funny! Poor Jonathan!

At first I hated them...but they really grew on me...now I love them! They were so funny, brought great humor to the show. I love when they are stealing the diamond and Andrew lowers in from the roof. Warren and Jonathan just casually walk in then...and spin him arond on his wires. I loved that...I found it so amusing. And I forget which episode it is, but something in their little lair lights on fire and Andrew screams and runs away...I laughed so hard at that. It's not when the map lit on fire in Entropy though...it was before that...and I can never find it again....

I can't recall that one. I loved the whole freeze ray thing. They loved comics and sci fi and the whole freeze ray gun reminded me of the Batman and Robin movie.

And lets not forget when Spike threatened to destroy Bobba Fett?

The Trio is so much fun 🙂... I am just watching Andrew in S7 right now [The eppy with his "Buffy, Slayer of the Vampires" Documentary]... and he has flashbacks to when he and the trio were 'super villains'. But because it is in his own mind, he makes himself into the big shot of the group. And I don't know the proper line but it was so funny when they said that Buffy would become magnetic and they could walk right by her and she wouldn't be able to do anything.

Then Warren says something 'unless we're wearing metal belt buckles' and Andrew says 'In my plan, we are beltless...' I laughed at that for hours. And I completely agree that they brought funny moments and some lightness to the dark stuff that was going on that season.

I ADORE the Trio. Love em!!!! I love the whole Star Wars running jokes with them, like the horn Rana mentioned...and how they were spray-painting the Death Star on their 'undercover' van LOL OMG!!!

The Trio were non-stop laughs for me and I think they should have been in more episodes!

Okay, technically it was Andrew and the First, but i just loved in CwDP when Andrew says "That boy is our last hope" and the First as Warren goes "No, there is another" and he's like oh really? Who? And the the First has to backpedal...

I just remembered a funny scene! When Spike is there to figure out his chip, and he's sitting with Andrew and Jonathan, and they talk about dvds and something they haven't seen cos it's not out on dvd yet, and Spike just looks at them, before shouting: "WARREN!"
Ok, so maybe a Spike moment, but Andrew and Jonathan were so funny in that scene!

The moment that made it for me was in "Life, Serial" when Jonathan and Warren use the code names "Logan 3" and "Francis 6". They are a reference to the movie/book "Logan's Run", definitely one of my most fave books (movie, not so much). They may not be gods, but they are the kings of pop culture references in the Buffyverse. There are soooo many...

I liked when Andrew painted that big sign on the side of the van lol. And (this isn't necessarily a trio moment) I also loved whenever Warren would say "We were the Trio, you've heard of us" or w/e he'd say, and then the demon he was talking to, never knew what he was talking about.

They were talking about a show in england that was really popular at the time. or at least in England it was according to some friends of mine at a scifi board I go to.😉 Anyways Yeah I thought they were great too and I loved that they collected the toy figures and would do anyhting so that they wouldn't get hurt.

Wasn't it Red Dwarf ? Or am I just hearing what I want to hear...😉?

Even though it doesn't really have the best humor to it, I loved the scene between Jonathan and Andrew in CWDP when their in the school and "checking" their walkies. That had me in stitches. I also really liked how Andrew was forever "Tucker's Brother".

ANDREW: You're English, right?
SPIKE: Yeah.
ANDREW: I've seen every episode of Doctor Who. Not Red Dwarf, though, 'cause, um...
JONATHAN: 'Cause it's not out yet on DVD.
ANDREW: Right. It's not out on ... DVD.
SPIKE: Warren!!

I love the trio. I was watch "Gone" yesterday and I noticed, Warren calls Jonathon Frodo. Had me in fits of laughter and I can't understand why! lol

Trio suxs

Hm, they killed Tara, tried to gang rape then killed another girl; what's not to love about these creeps?

They may have started out funny, but they just got sick, creepy and depressing.

Willow's revenge should have been complete; she should have been able to flay every last one of 'em and burn their action figures to ashes.

Yep it was Red Dwarf as Kindred so kindly pointed out. I'd never even heard of it untill they talked about it and then I read about all the time. I wish I knew what it was about really. But It never came over here for me to see it.🙁

It did play here in the Great White North for a couple of years in reruns, on Showcase, but I never seemed to be able to find it when it was on, and I always forgot to tape it. My buddy Evil Clown thought it was the best, though. Never missed an ep, or so he says.

Yes, the trio was evil. But they were very funny, and went from a laughable set of opponents to deadly threats. Remember, you gotta have a really nasty villain for the hero to look, well, heroic. The trio shows that you can underestimate an opponent easily. "Pains in my ass" Buffy says, and she'd never use that term for the Mayor or Glory...yet neither of those two baddies ever killed a scooby, or put Buffy in the hospital...
