OMG OMG OMG my shipping heart was exploding from joy. AND DAMON SMILING AFTERWARDS??
AND SNOW -FREAKING- PATROL PLAYING. Perfection.
Screw the sire bond, it doesn't even exist imho. BUT if it exists, they're gonna prove they love each other no matter what.
You know what bothers me? Is that the bond is possible BECAUSE OF feelings Elena had for Damon BEFORE turning. So, I mean...WHY is everybody questioning them??? o.o

I thought they were kinda hot. I mean, we're used to SUPER-AMAZING-DELENA-HOTNESS so that's lame in comparison. But I'm so glad they hooked up. Stefan's much better without Elena. They don't belong together.

Poor Jerbear, he's really having it rough these days. I'm just glad he didn't shoot in the heart like Damon asked him to.

Seriously...poor little guy. But it was nice to see how Damon cared for Jeremy (no matter what ass-face Kol says) and how Jer cares for him as well...he couldn't shoot him, no matter what.

Who else think they're going to turn Bonnie into evil Willow 2.0?

Overall, I despise everyone cause they're completely ignoring season 3 when Elena is clearly in love with Damon and they all now blame it on the sire bond -.-

I don't hate Stefan, actually. Of course he's hurt...his bro is with his ex-very-important-girlfriend. She chose DAMON over him. It stings and burn and I'm not gonna blame him or hate him cause there's no reason to. I just think him clinging onto the sire bond is gonna make him feel A LOT of pain when they're gonna prove it's all real between them.
Btw, I'm glad he's taking a different path, sleeping with Rebekah, telling Elena that's who he is when he's not in love with her (even though that's a compete lie).
And Elena being hurt and worried after their discussion didn't even bother me. This guy was supposed to pine and love her forever and instead, she sees him slipping down in darker places and refusing to deal with pain and hanging with a girl who tried to kill her. Her ego is bruised and she's so worried he's gonna go so dark and never come back. That's actually completely understandable.

My hopes for Klaroline are vanished since they announced the spin-off...so sad. I wanted them together 🙁
 
Yep, I thought about Bonnie turning into some kind of evil Willow 2.0 aswell.

I'm getting so tired of all these obstacles. Sire bond, compulsion, blah blah blah. I suppose it makes for more interesting tv or whatever, but I just want Damon and Elena together, grrhhh. I've always prefered the two of them together, but with all the back and forth and dragging it out, I started to feel like "I don't freakin care anymore! Pick someone and just shut up!" haha. But when she did chose Damon this season, it did make me happy and my interest has been renewed 🙂

Wait....what?! There is going to be a spin off? When did that happen? Hmmmm, I don't know if I like that idea. I wanted Klaus and Caroline together aswell.

We're not sure it's going to get picked up yet, but I'm not watching it if it does.
I don't know what theey can do with the Original family that they haven't done yet. They would have to make it about either their past (so flashback all the way) or revive everyone and try to work it out as a family (which would be hard considering they're all about backstabbing each other all the time)...

I'm kinda worried about what they'll do next season... if they find the cure - because if the Original have their own show, they can't stay in TVD and they can't go as long as they are searching for the cure - and if Bonnie (I almost wrote Willow :S) will really turn bad.......

anyone saw the promo at the end of the episode? I couldn't watch it live so I didn't see it.
 
I'm still really disliking that the 'sire bond' is being used as an excuse for everything-but if Stefan needs to hold onto that falsity to get over Elena, then so be it. I'd rather that than have him pining over her. Rebekkah and Stefan working together is weird but I guess it works since they did used to be a thing. I'm liking how everyone is working in their own little groups-even though they're essentially all working towards the same thing; just a different use. Except for Kol. There has to be more behind his past with Silas.
I like the little bromance happening between Jeremy and Damon; always acting like they don't like each other, but when it really comes down to it (minus compulsion) they couldn't kill each other.
Evil Bonnie just seems like such a predictable route for a witch character- I'm hoping that they don't entirely go that way with her character because it's so tired. Maybe in the dying seconds she decides to be good or something. All I know is, every time she is on screen I'm always asking 'isn't she dead yet?' Really can't stand her character.
DE is so awesome and I wish they could just be together properly; but I just can't see that happening with Stefan in the picture, he's such a sore loser.
I'm wondering who will take the cure if it comes to that...although, you can't really have TVD without actual vampires. I'm not even entirely sure I believe it exists...I guess time will tell.
The spinoff...I'm torn on this. Joseph (Klaus) is a brilliant actor and his character is awesome...but what makes his character great is his interactions with our heroines...take that away and what are you really left with? That is of course unless it's based on the past...but we already know that Klaus daggers them all anyway at some point. I'm just not completely sold on it. It's hard to imagine TVD without the originals since they've been around so long.
What do you think of Elena's plan to get Kol now and destroy his entire vampire line?
 
I like season 4 so far. I was thinking that the cure might not exist because remember the whole fake sun and moon curse? But also I did read the books (which are totally different) and she turned back from being a vampire, back into a human. (well she died as a vamp n came back human) so I was thinking the might cure her on the show to make her human again...i dont know...oh and (Spoiler) Kat Graham said interview that a major character is supposed to die this season, I really wanna know who...lol

Thanks for the link 🙂 I like Klaus and Rebekah so I might give it a try, but the idea of a spin off for them and the other originals doesn't really grab my interest.

Ohh, really? I could stand to loose Bonnie I guess, she really gets on my nerves a lot.

Maybe Matt or Tyler aswell. I don't dislike either of them exactly but I feel sorta indifferent towards them. Like if they were gone I wouldn't particularly care.
 
Lol Bonnies ok. I really don't want any of them to die but I was thinking it might be Tyler cause Klaus wants him dead now...or Jeremy cause of all the dangerous vampire hunting he has to do now...or Matt cause he dosent have anything better to do...oh no wait he's kinda like Xander now...
 
As for the character who could die, well let's see...

Damon: Can't die, 98% of the action in the show revolves around him at one point XD
Elena: Can't die (again), except if she's getting back... And that would be too much.
Stefan: Unfortunately can't die, Elena and Damon would never get over it.

Caroline: She's almost not a major character anymore, we've barely seen her in the past 2 episodes and in one she was only trying to make Rebekah stop her compulsion.
Tyler: Same thing, we almost don't see him anymore except to unleash his hybrid/wolf form... We didn't even see him grieve much about his mother's death...
Bonnie: She can die. [that's all I have to say without being rude]
Jeremy: It would make sense that they Kol would want to kill him, especially if he doesn't want the cure to be found... I'm kinda worried about that one.
Matt: He's taken Caroline "role" in the last episode, trying to tell Elena that Damon is the "bad guy"... We'll have to see how it goes.

As for the Originals well, they can't really die if they want their own TV show...
 
I think Damon is gonna die...and come back. That's the majority of people's opinion. I mean, die and come back as human..or something like that. Everyone is pretty sure Damon will be human by the end of season 4.
I don't really know what to think.

I would like for Tyler to die. Bonnie (whom I can't stand) is so NOT gonna die but Tyler could. I sure as hell hope so.
 
My guess is that Matt will be the one I die....he isn't really a main character but they have given his a much bigger role lately so that could be their way of setting up a "main" character death.

I suppose it could be Bonnie. Her death would certainly rock Mystic Falls but not so much that they couldn't get over it. Would certainly be a very dramatic loss; same goes for Caroline.

I think having Tyler die and calling that a main character death would be a cop out. He is a minor character, always has been always will be.

I think they may be going down that path. Cause if it's a major character death, then I can't see any other option. But if it's secondary, then Matt or Tyler. Hoping for Tyler, I really like Matt.
ALSO BONNIE...but I might be too optimistic.
 
I think it would be too much if Damon died, even if he came back afterward.

Can't they just like stop trying to kill people in every finale?

Can't they just make them move without killing them? Not that I would mind if Bonnie (or Tyler or maybe even Caroline) died, but (almost) killing characters every season cuts the "surprise" and shock out of it after a while...

I'd like for damon to become human again, though. Because (in contrary to the novels) Damon actually wants to be human in the show. I bet he would love it for a few days/weeks and then be all angry because he can't go around and kill people anymore XD
 
The only person I would want to see become human again (at this point) would be Elena. I really don't see the purpose of Damon becoming human. Yes, that's ideally what his character wants - but he won't be the same Damon anymore. Although I did quite like human Damon...he was so opposite of what he's like now. But I just don't know how that would fit into the show.

To be honest I hope the cure doesn't exist at all... On another thought, maybe because the Doppelganger is all special, Elena will be immune to the cure.

I just want to know who Silas is.

I do agree with the sentiment of them killing people off quite often...you start to become immune to it - I'm drawing my feelings from SPN. Sam, Dean and Cas die so often and get brought back that I kind of don't care when it happens anymore. Which is unfortunate because I love the show.

And let's be honest, I'm still trying to recover from Alaric dying haha.

I'm not sure I want to see Damon become human if Elena stays a vampire, but it would make an interesting twist (from the writers POV I guess).

I'm pretty sure the cure won't work on Elena. Partly because they always said they wanted to grow away from the books as much as possible, which they've done greatly so far. I've never liked the "50 states of Elena" ( XD ) in the books...

Sometimes I wonder if Silas isn't just like another part of Shane that he can't get to by himself. Like some sort of alter ego... But maybe they wouldn't do that since they've over the alter ego thing with Ric.

***That thing about SPN even makes me wonders how they could ever end the show with a finality. They can't die, because they always come back.***

I'm still not over Alaric either. It makes me both sad and angry that Matthew Davis switched to a new show because I wanted his ghost to still be there with Damon, like that one time at the cemetery :'(
 
That was one crazy episode. Gonna have to watch it again (cause I barely understood a thing, my mom was snoring next to me on the sofa...)

Seeing Stefan and Rebekah at the dance kinda sparkled up the chemistry between them. I might start to root for them to be officially together soon if they keep it up.

Bonnie's really going down that path. But at the same time, I kinda feel bad for her (someone hit me now...) because her father was becoming really annoying! And her mother too.

Aww, my little Jarbear, the marks seemed to hurt 🙁 but I'm glad he's okay. I was scared for a moment when Kol had him restrained on the table.
Talking about Kol, anyone else thought it was a bit "easy" to kill him, considering he's an original?

Klaus crying = me happy. Well, not like super duper real happy, but a bit happy.

Damon got out! And revealed Stefan's adventure! AND HIT STEFAN!! 😀

Elena was BAMF in there for a minute, when they where fighting Kol. I like it 🙂
 
I seriously could not stop laughing when Jeremy ripped his shirt off and yelled coz of the marks. It was all so over dramatic and sorta Hulk-like *chuckles*

I enjoyed the music and all the movie references in this episode, I love 80's stuff. Stefan and Rebekah dancing to The Cure was nice 🙂

I like Stefan and Rebekah together. I always feel sorry for Rebekah, she gets used and hurt so much.

So because Stefan managed to fight compulsion and Damon didn't, Stefan loves Elena more? Damon/Elena fans are just never going to win *sigh*.

I know, it's unbelievable how everyone is just so quick to jump on Damon about his love for Elena. Like he said, he's not good at fighting his instincts and impulses(sp?).... Did you see his eyes when Klaus said that? It was almost like he stabbed him with a knife :'(

I didn't mention it, but man was it awesome to hear Bon Jovi!! I still can't believe Stefan never had sex with Lexi, though. You can't be with a girl that long and never try something.

From now on, I'm calling Jeremy: JerHulk! XD
