There is not a single reason I can think of that the audience would need to see that (if they do go the route of killing Judith).

Hear, hear! I couldn't deal with hearing the baby crying while it was going on off camera either. As a mother, I think something like that would give me nightmares. 🙁
As a person something like that will give me nightmares. I'm pretty sure I'm going to need therapy just from reading about the film Darla worked on. 😱

I think nearly everyone would be in shock if something was to happen to the baby. You typically don't see baby-deaths for that reason. And babies in intense situations are very effective. I think killing a baby may risk losing the fan base..

If Judith died of natural causes, I think the fans would be sad but I don't think it would really alienate anyone. But if she's murdered, even accidentally? That would be a hard pill to swallow. 🙁
Only read this is you've read the comics, or don't care. The plot is quite different in the show.
It was brutal.. I stared at the damn page for about.. 3 minutes.. just being sad. But at the end of the day, the comics go on.. some fans leave due to being too pissed, and some fans stay because they think it's edgy. I think this could happen on the show, but it's very unlikely. If anything, I think it'll happen off-screen.
Well Judith died in the comics in the arms of Lori, running from the Governor and his army attacking.

I know what happens in the comics. I am just saying that if it happens (which I'm sure it will), she dies of natural causes and not in any brutal fashion.

I've never read the comics, but I watch the show, primarily because it's shot around Atlanta and Northwest Georgia, so I keep looking for familiar landmarks. In general, though, I think that the whole zombie thing has turned into a huge glut on the market, pretty much like the movies featuring unkillable slashers back in the '80's and 90's.
I am getting disgusted with Rick and his current problems. And why is it that, despite where they now are, and the supplies that are obviously still there and usable, they still walk around looking almost as grubby as the walkers? Even if the place had been stripped of just about everything else, which it obviously wasn't, soap, water, and clean clothes should be there in abundance. About 3 more episodes, and their clothes are gonna start rotting off of them.

In Rick's defense, he's gone through a LOT in this season. However, I totally agree with you about the supplies. Can they not turn the generator on long enough to warm up the water and get a shower? And there has to be a way for them to either wash their clothes or find some prison garb to wear or something... I asked my husband a few weeks back "I want to know one thing... When the f*ck are they gonna find the showers?? 'Cause they sure need to!" LOL

I'm not really sure if zombies have become a huge glut in the market.. I mean, TWD is amazing, and it really gets better every season, so that doesn't count. What other zombie things are there? Warm Bodies? Seems to me like good zombie things come around every once in a while, Snyder's Dawn of the Dead, Left 4 Dead, Shaun of the Dead, The Walking Dead.
Rick has been through SO much! If anything, his freak-out in the comics should've been more intense and longer. He just lost his wife, had a baby that he doesn't know how to take care of by himself, and he's been leading this group forEVER and it's freakin hard. Sure, he needs to get ahold of himself, and calm down, but to me, it's understandable that he's going through a crazy phase.
Does anyone know how the whole water supply thing works? Somewhere along the line people play a part in that, right? Well obviously there's no people doing that job now, whatever is, so I honestly can't hold the grubby thing against them (though Rick having a shower is honestly one of my deepest wishes at the moment. The man is RANK). I'd conserve every ounce I could, just incase.

The water supply would depend upon the power source to pressurize the water source; so it probably wouldn't take long to stop working. At this point its safe to assume there would be no running water. Plus, remember the disgusting bathroom room we saw when they first entered the prison, no one would live like that if there was running water. I suppose there are full water tanks out on farms and such; they'd just have to find them.

Anyways, I liked the latest ep. Super happy Daryl came back. And poor Axel, just when I was starting to half way like the guy. But I suppose that's the point. They make us like him so ganking him will have more of an effect.

Not always. In fact, Georgia is noted for it's very volatile weather. The state saying is, "If you don't like the weather now, hang around for a couple of days." Within just the last couple of weeks, our weather has run from well below freezing at night to the high 50's at midday, and we've had several heavy rains, some very severe storms, and even a very destructive tornado, with several absolutely beautiful days that seem more like late spring than mid February.
Rick and his little tribe shouldn't stay hot and sweaty ALL the time. Between storms and cold snaps, we should have seen at least a few episodes with coats and frosty breath, and at the very least, it would add another survival factor for them to have to contend with.
My point is, at some point there in their travels, it's been hot as hell, so they are going to be dirty and sweaty.

I know it's super hot in Georgia, and these episodes are taking place in the warmer months, which is why I understand why they get funky really quickly. And I'm sure with all they have going on, personal hygiene probably isn't at the top of their list, but it bugs me. LOL I have a thing with people living dirty. BLUH.
I agree. Glenn is trying to step up, but his emotions are getting in the way of making clear judgement calls. I hope Daryl will step up once he, Merle, and Rick are able to get back into the prison.

I think Rick needs to step up instead. Glenn, Daryl, Tyreese, Hershel, or even Carl could do a pretty good job, but none of them are true born leaders like Rick.
