There are rumors here and there of Doyle coming back

I have an article asking is doyle will return to the show and it says that he was acctually fired from the show and that at the time he will not be returning which you have to remember that this article was printed during the second season of angel

He wasn't fired. They knew out front Doyle would only be in for 9 episodes, Glenn Quinn knew it too! ... It be nice to re-introduce him, but only Angel, Cordy and Lilah know him!

Actually, the actor who played Doyle died a while back. He O.D.ed. So if he does come back it will have to be in another form or something. I just found this out recently in EW.
