Things that really annoy you...

Some of these are probably going to sound pathetic, but heh.

I spend a lot of money on DVD's, so when someone borrows one and then leaves the disk somewhere in their house not in the case, that really irks me. Is it so hard to take the disk from the case, put it into the DVD player and once it'd done put it back in the case?

Spitting!!! Argh, it's not so much the actual spit it's more the sound. I'm sure my Dad does it to wind me up. We'll leave the house, and he'll seriously spit about 30 times before we reach the top of the street. He doesn't spit in the house, so why outside - it baffles and annoys me.

A few days ago I had a HUGE argument with my Mum while she was drunk and she said all these hurtful things and the next day couldn't remember. When I told her what she said, she said she didn't mean it. Surely though, for her to say it she must have thought it in the first place.

I'm sure I'll think of more, but at the moment that's all I have on my mind ::huh1::

The OTHER thing that really annoys me.. why do you instantly have to wee (see, I used better language at risk of sounding like a girl!) when you step outside into frigid weather. It's like your bladder has a thermostat or something.

One thing that really, really annoys me is when I accidentally scrape my teeth against each other. *shudders* also and when flossing or some such and I accidentally scrape one of my nail's against where I had a cavity filling (fortunately I've only got 3). OMG. I hate it. It just... *shudders*

Also, cornstarch. I hate cornstarch. It's hideous, nasty, and why, oh why is it useful in recipes???

I've got some kind of Sensory Integration Disorder, so things like that annoy me. I hate tags in clothing, for instance. It's always annoying when I go to buy bras, jeans, whatever.. because I always forget what size I wear, and I cut the tag out so I can't tell... 😛

I hate rubbing up fabric the wrong way, especially with velvet. It sends shivers down my spine. I am not a fan of disco balls. All that light is weird. Rock bands, loud drums and screaming fans are really annoying. I can't stand that sound. Also, high pitched alarms!! Like at libraries and jewelry stores and museums...

The texture of tomatoes bug me. I can only stand them if they're smooth. Crunching on onions isn't nice either. Tofu is only acceptable if it's been deep-fried so it has a better texture. 😉

Also, fog machines. Fog machines are EVIL. I find it hard to breathe around them, they're just really annoying, and the smell is awful. 😛

I have another one, people who copy you, someone I know has suddenly bought themselves the same game console I have and they've never even mentioned they liked gaming. If they've bought the same games as me I'll be mega freaked out and slightly annoyed.

Well...they're all fishy!

They smell and taste pungent. Any time I go swimming in the ocean slimy dead ones always manage to float up and touch off me which sends me into a blind panic. And they are the worst pets ever, they do nothing and ineveitably you end up having to flush the fecker down the toilet.

Just in general. I miss living on my own where if things are messy, I know it's my fault and not because someone came home at 3am and decided on trying to make fried rice while drunk. If I have less food than I thought I did, it's because I ate it and not because people steal my food. If I run out of toilet paper too quickly, it's because....uhh....I've had visitors? (sw) And not because everyone else is to freaking cheap to buy their own. If it's noisy, it's my noise. Stuff like that.

I like my space. Or I at least like to live with people I know properly.

So dang true! I've shared a flat with two guys for six years, and when I finally moved out into my own flat (first time ever now that I live alone) I couldn't believe how much better this is. The last few month living in the old flat, they just grated on my nerves more and more each day... and that was even without food stealing - at least each of us had their own mini-fridge in their rooms, lol!

Kean, I totally get what you mean with the being left alone. At some point at New Year's Eve I was jsut so done with the loud music and the dancing and everything, and I just wanted to sit down for some quiet minutes, but people kept asking me what was wrong. Aaaargh! Well, at least I got some free drinks out of that.
And people come on, having roommates is so awesome! Some can be very annoying indeed (I'm not looking at anyone, but I'm just saying 'ob wenn' and you know who you are!) and sometimes when you really have to study/sleep and still it feels like you're in a bar it's not too great, but to be fair, as long as I'm not the one who has to study/sleep, I'm usually the first one to be loud. Well, altogther having roommates is so awesome!

things that annoy me:
- people saying 'ob wenn' (again, you know who you are)
- people talking about tendons being cut
- people at class that try getting other students who don't say anything to participate. If I don't want to talk, I just don't want to!
- grammar mistakes in people's own native language
- rice
- people being too narrow-minded to see clear, logical points made
- people at bars spilling drinks on me
- at checkout counters in shops when people there are behaving like immature kids and hold up the whole queue with completely irrelevant problems


I have some other stuff, but that's more things I hate, not what annoys me (well I guess the rice technically also belongs into tht category, but nah, whatever)
