I can't be the only one that's taken away some quite profound life lessons from watching Buffy/Angel/Firefly/Dollhouse etc (with the latter giving the viewer a lot of questions to think about). From things like fish of the day carpe diem, to pondering what it means to be human and to have emotions... But what did you learn from watching? (Maybe learn's the wrong word, because I kinda already knew this stuff, but watching these programmes kinda reinforced the messages for me, if that makes sense. Make of the phrasing what you will 😛).
I myself learned never to stop fighting for what I wanted, and what I thought was right. In my case that's with my psychiatrist to get the help I deserve after years of abuse (which unfortunatly I am still fighting on four years after seeking help). I also learnt that it is possible to recover from being a bit of a bad person, as long as you are willing to do everything in your power to put things right, are prepared to pay the price for whatever you have done, and are willing to accept that not everybody will accept you've changed.
