Things we've learned today/this week

I learnt that you shouldnt drive your car when your car is overheating.. and then just keep driving.. and your bonnet is smoking.. yet you keep on driving... lol (not me but i know this happened to someone today)

also when people are braking.. i suggest you brake too.. otherwise you will ram up the other cars butt!
 
After watching how my wife's family drove her crazy over the last few weeks I have learned...
God gives you great friends to make up for the assholes he gave you as family.
 
I learnt that this board is full of surprises! New colour red is gone! love the new violet

I agree TT God does give you great friends to make up for what members of your family are assholes!

Well if believed in God he was really good to me cos both my family and my friends are great.

But its irrelevant cos I dont 🙂
 
I was accosted by a gaggle of giggling schoolgirls while on the train. One of them pinched my bum.:redface: I didn't learn anything new, I was just reminded of how embarrassed teenage girls can make you feel.:sweat:
 
what i've learned so far this week:
A. 1..2..3...still works on teenage boys if they know you will bring the wrath of God down upon them if you make it to 3.
B. staff meetings are stupid. they are a waste of time and they make me want to scream, but I haven't cause I like my job.
C. Sometimes it is okay to sit in the dark in your office. Its like hide and seek for grown-ups.
D. 99.9% is a cop out you-can't-sue-me disclaimer.
E. I miss my family. When one of them get hurt and you aren't able to be there it sucks.

also, reading this thread made me smile.
 
Learnt that wherever you start it (any kind of forum with totally different topics I mean) this thread ALWAYS works. :silly:

God loves me enough to realise he can dump crappy friends AND crappy family on me because he knows I can cope.....at least thats what I tell myself to get through the cold nights🙁

Yea, I failed. Because we have to do this notebook thing that was like 25% of our grade, and I just...didn't. It really had nothing to do with learning how to drive, and I told my teacher that, and he flunked me. Hmm.

What did I learn? ...message board flame wars are fun to watch. But I knew that already.
 
I learned that I'm substantially less tolerant than I wish I was, and that iPod customer service is either some sort of cruel joke or a monstrous international thought experiment.

I learnt that botd defintely has a grudge or hates Cordelia Chase*... i dont know why.. you just dont do ya Alister lol.. you can be so mean.. why cant you be nice.. like your nice to me and other people.. cant go around having hissy fits :silly:
