Things you found out only recently

I recently discovered that Julie Benz (Darla), Mercedes McNab (Harmony), Elizabeth Anne Allen (Amy ) and Julia Lee (Lily) originally all auditioned to play Buffy and Bianca Lawson (Kendra) originally auditioned for the role of Cordelia.

Ha! I was reading wiki and came across this too! It's kinda cool they all got some kind of role.
 
This probably has been said already, but I just found out that Danny Strong originally auditioned for the role of Xander. Now that would've been interesting to see. 🙂

Speaking of Xander, Ryan Reynolds was originally offered the role of Xander.

Wow what a different world it would be had either of them gotten the role instead.

I may be a little late with this, but just found out Nicholas Brendon was 25/26 when he first started Buffy playing a 16 yr old! Haaa

Nicholas Brandon has a twin brother who did stunts for him and was the double for the ep in which there's two Xanders... That's so cool!

Two Xanders! They're so cute.
In season 1 Angel shoudn't be a Vampire(In the beginning). But then they dicided to make him a Vampire because the story would have been more interesting!!
 
Did anyone know.... Jenny Calendar was originally to have been called Nicki. This was changed to Jenny to avoid confusion on the set, Nicholas Brendon being generally called Nicky by his co-stars. (However, in season 7, the character Nikki Wood was added and appears in several episodes.)

I remember finding this out a while ago but it just came back to me when researching for the Nicholas Brendon Filmography!
 
I knew. I end up on her Buffy wikipedia page a lot.
Did you know that, exactly a year after her death, Tara was supposed to be brought back (in a good way, not like Buffy) by a wish from Buffy? That'd be awesome! But I'd be sad about Jenny...
 
Did you know that after S7 of Buffy, Eliza Dushku was originally offered her own show for Faith, but she declined in order to do Tru Calling [which ended after two seasons]?

Yup, I heard that too - she should have done it!! Tho I do remember enjoying Tru Calling when it originally aired but haven't seen it for years! A Faith Tv series would have been incredible 🙂
