Well, depending on how you interpret Genesis 6, (if you hold to the view that it's referring to the fallen angels, and their descendants, the Nephilim) there might be some credence to mythical creatures, (Fairies, Unicorns, etc) greek mythology, and past mythical cities, like the lost city of Atlantis.
