Thoughts on Emma Watson's Vanity Fair photo?

Pretty much yeah. But their different images. Because of the Harry Potter films and now BATB, along with her recent campaign for women rights then Watson has a more lady like image, so the media are going to treat something like this different than they would with Kardashian. Its not right, it stinks, but that's much of the modern media for you😉

no i mean what are people criticizing about the picture
its not really anything surprising or anything and Emma watson herself has done photoshoots like this before.

Some people claim it's hypocritical as she often says that women should be recognized more for their work and less than sexuality, then she does this photoshoot which seems to counteract all of her talk about women being more than a "pretty image" as the only reason people are talking about her is because of her so-called nudity.

Like I said its a image thing. As far as the media (or at least this sort of media) are concerned up to now Watson had presented a squeaky clean image. So the Sun newspaper are trying to turn anything that remotely goes against that image into a fuss. Believe me I'm not defending them, but that is just the way their tiny little minds work. My guess is this will all blow over in a matter of weeks.

Yea, Emma Watson can't help it if she's a pretty girl. She didn't do the photoshoot to be controversial and show off her boobs. I'm pretty sure it's the photographers decision. And you can't see anything anyways, just ask @Blaze sure knows 😉. Lol. It's just because the movie is coming out and it's a Disney movie so the media thinks any bit of nudity is bad. I'm interested if the Disney PR have anything to say about it.

Nope! 😛. Lol. Yea Lafou is apparently the first gay character in a Disney movie. From the early reviews I've heard it's barely even in the movie. It's not like it's far fetched to think that Lafou would have a crush on Gaston. The media just wanted to make a big deal out of it.

Well wasn't Lefou kind of gay in the animated BatB? It wasn't explicitly stated but the way that he followed after Gaston could imply that he fancied him.

My main question about the vanity fair photos is why are women made to go topless for "sexy" photos? Surely they can look "sexy" in other ways without having their breasts out?

Oh and er Mr. Pole POM is not slang for a British person. During WW2 the British troops had a thing for eating Pomegranates and that is why the British were known as Poms by the Yanks.

So what you are saying is it is slang for a British person? As far as I am aware what you just described is in fact, slang.

Slang is informal nature and it is not used in the formal written words for a speech. It is
however specifically used for insulting language.
