Thoughts on Paris Hilton's Release

Okay, I know I should just brush it off, but this seriously bothers me!

So, Paris Hilton is released from jail after only serving three days of her sentence because of a medical condition. (Which I heard was a severe emotional breakdown, but that could be wrong).

Either way, what the heck. I'm so sick and tired of celebs getting their way. Just because a handful of them have shown a mediocre acting talent in front of a talent and a professional partying talent off screen, they don't have to follow society's rules?

What do you guys think about this?
 
i think it's rediculous. she's no better than anyone else. she should have served the full 45 days she was sentenced, instead of having it cut to 23. and then she was released early on 'medical grounds' which other inmates said she faked!!

if it had been an orinary person, they would have been given a harsher sentence in the first place. Paris Hilton is no better than you or me...it's just because of who her father is. this annoys the hell out of me.

I'm annoyed....the skank deserved what she got and should have served her whole sentence. Other inmates with medical conditions are treated in the jail clinic, why shouldn't she be?

Here in Canada two youths were street racing (160kmh in a 60kmh zone) late at night and hit a cab killing the driver. Who ironically was going to be sworn in as a Canadian citizen in a few days. These two little pukes lawyers said they were not racing they were just driving fast. They live in the richer part of the city and they are under house arrest for a year!!! But they are allowed to go to school, work (that's a joke), and court approved social events.
About Paris all I got to say is whoever let her out is now in posession of a golden ticket for life to stay at any Hilton Hotel in the world.
 
There's always seemed to be a seperate set of rules for the rich and powerful, whether they deserve special treatment or not. Sadly, that's simply the way of the world, and there doesn't seem to be much that can be done about it.
 
I texted my dad about this (he's in California right now) and he texted back and said that she is going to a hearing today because the judge that orginially sentenced her was upset that she was released. He said the judge is going to put her back.
 
I personally don't really care, Thats the way of the world! But I don't thinnk you could really put someone like her in jail. She would be riped apart by actual prisioners!

Hmmm, for those of you that don't know Mesektet as well as some of us do, this is her saying that she isn't keen on Paris Hilton. In case anyone missed the subtle hints. 😛

Gotta say, I agree though. Really not sure why she continues to be news worthy.
 
Does anyone get the feeling we are about to be fleeced here? I heard a few days ago that she signed a book deal to be written about her time in jail. So I guess this little drama has upped it to a movie of the week.
Say what you want about this skanky, pampered little whore she is smart as a fox when it comes to making money.
I love the fact the judge has changed her sentence to the full 45 days. Stay tuned people this little drama is far from over. I say by 10pm on 8 Jun she will be on suicide watch.

I read the MSN article. Paris reportedly screams "It's not fair!". That's right honey. It's not fair that any normal person would be forced to serve their time and you don't because you're a STD -ridden, drug addicted socialite who thinks she owns the world.
 
Paris Hilton annoys the crap outta me. When I heard they let her out I was upset because they wouldn't do that to any non-famous person. But now that I hear she's back, I'm happy.

DO you know what, prison is to good for this piece of poo they call paris hilton, i have never seen or heard of anyone more useless in my whole life, i really do hate her with a fiery passion and this whole thing just makes me hate all the more
 
See, I don't HATE these nobodies like Paris Hilton. To hate them would suggest a level of "giving a crap" that I simply cannot claim to have. I just don't care enough to have any feelings towards them other than being amazed that people still care enough about her to buy magazines that tell you what she wore last week. But that is true for most "celebs" these days.
 
So...I take it from the gist of all the above replies that we feel less than love and devotion for Ms Hilton? Well, cheer up, Paris (so famous that they named a city in France for her! WOW!!) Britney still loves you.

yeah im pretty much with you. i dont care about her either way. i hear about it in the news then dont think anything of it the entire rest of the day. i believe that because of what she did, she should be punished like any other person and thats about the extent of my opinion. *shrug*
