Thoughts on Tru Calling?

i think its great-nice cast good acting i love it! i think it wont last long either
 
I absolutly love it. Yesterdays episode was so sad 🙁 I want it to make it on the network so bad but at the same time I would really love another buffy spinoff and with Alyson Hannigan doing her own sitcom I doubt it will happen. But everytime I watch this show it pulls me further and further into it. But at the moment I really hope it makes it but if it doesn't i'm hoping for a Faith spinoff.
 
So far from what I have seen I like it ok. I reminds me of other shows though. Like a mix of canceled shows.. I think it has potential, but the "˜help me' then go save them every ep might get boring. I hope it stays, and if it doesn't I hope Eliza does a Faith spin. Until I have seen more there is not a lot more I can say. It's just ok.
 
I was really upset with the last episode. I really wanted Nick to be with her. I don't see why both the little girl and Nick could come out of the fire ok. Anyway, next weeks looks good too. And Faithy, I don't know if you have ever seen it but there used to be a show called "Early Edition" that was sorta the same idea. Someone would go back in time to save people. It was a good show, but I still like Eliza's show better!
 
I haven't seen any eps past the first version of the pilot which was just okay. But if it's good, then you can almost guarantee Fox will cancel it. They have a long, shining history of destroying quality television (e.g. Firefly, Futurama etc.)

Sorry had to be said... watched the first episode and although it was slow to kick off with (Creating the background) when the main story got going... it really did get going... currently turning ep 2 into a VCD hopefully this one wont end up all mirrored and back to front when I play it 🙂
 
Okay, after the first episode, I thought I wasn't really going to like it. But it got better rather than worse. I was a little uninviting at first because Tru is a different, nicer, calmer person than the character of Faith. And I do love Faith.

But the latest episode was just hot, and I thought the idea of him asking her to help was smart, because he was asking her to help him save the girl, not help him save his own life. This guy was too sweet to keep on the show 'cause there'd be less drama... and a show needs drama.

Oh and I don't like the brother, but the sister chick can act.🙂
 
I LOVE Eliza Dushku! and I LOVE Tru Calling. I think it's a great show. I'm recording every episode! I cant wait for the one in 2 days. THe last episode was so sad when she was at the morgue begging her 'soulmate' to come back to life. ::tear::
 
TRU CALLING KICKS ARSE!!! I love that show! I hope they don't screw it up...my fav character is that guy she works with...whos name escapes me at the moment...he is freggin' hillarious! I was so touched by the last episode. As corney as it is I think The First Evil has it pegged...Tru-ly wonderful! 😉

Thanks! I swear that actor is so funny! I have loved him in what little I have seen him in. I just look at him and I crack up. He just screams harmless pervy dork man! Oh God...I've been hanging out with Chasity too much... 😛 😉

This is what I heard from my writer pal... "Here's the official word on the ratings. Studio and network are happy. Here's why. We HELD our numbers in the key demmo for this show - women 18-34. In fact, in that segment we came in third for the night beating ABC, WB and UPN. Where the overall numbers went down was - we lost the older folks who tuned in for the pilot - realized it wasn't for them, and tuned out for week two. If we can keep holding in that W18-34 (women age 18-34) demo, you'll all most likely get a full season of Tru Calling. Feel free to spread the news."

I love this show. It gets better every week. I sepecially love "putting out fires" that has been my favorite episode so far. i can't wait till the next episode.
 
I am pleased with the show as well, I have seen every ep so far. I just hope it gets good enough ratings! <crosses fingers> I'd like it to be around a while..
 
I'd like to know, how it goes so far ? I mean, many episodes have been released yet, haven't they ?
Is it still good, with good plot & all ?
 
I think there's been 6 eps. I think it's got a good plot, the actors all fit their character's roles very well. I hope it's ratings are high enough to keep it going....who else senses that something's going to end up happening between Tru and Davis???
