I preferred the HBP movie compared to the POA one, the changes in that one, make it the worst one to me, there was barely any continuity to the two previous movies.

yeah I know the feeling! It wont have the characters we know but still...another movie!!!!
Exactly! And I'm super excited to have that HP feel to it! Also excited to see how they do things considering it'll take place 70 years ago. I would love for it to become a series of movies.
I'm hoping they do Tales of Beedle the Bard after, there's several stories there that could be a series!

I am just now on the fifth book. So far I loved the last book, The Goblet of Fire.
I've seen all the movies and I think they all get better as they go. The last three films are great. They're so dark!
I probably have over-looked this but..
-I've heard Rowling is putting together a Harry Potter play in England

-She is writing screenplays to stories that take place in the Harry Potter world but aren't directly related to Harry, Ron or Hermonie.. just that universe.
Anyone else heard or can confirm this?

I have heard rumours that she is both writing a play and is working on a movie franchise set in the wizardly world. For the movie franchise, I've heard it's about her book "Fantastic Beast and Where to find them" which is a book that she already wrote set in the Harry Potter world. I don't know if it's 100% confirmed or not though, and if it is I have a feeling that we won't be seeing this for another while.

This is really interesting, I'm a bit surprise that Rowling is letting someone else write some completely new material for Harry Potter. I'm guessing this won't really be canon though?
She still has veto power over it I guess, if it was against how the story goes then I don't think she would have let it happen. Kinda in the same way that Joss doesn't write the comics.
Anyone else been watching the Harry Potter season on ITV? Enjoying the Behind the Magic shows before the movie as well, good to see how some of the scenes were made.

I have read the books lots of times. But during the last few years I have been studying so much I haven't had the energy to read anything outside of school. I also can't read on buses/trains plus I like to walk a lot. So I have been listening to HP read by Stephen Fry, and it's so good. My friend actually has been using this as therapy for years before me, and when I was on sick leave last spring I couldn't do anything but listen to this. Stephen Fry's voice is so great for this.
My favourite books are Prisoner of Azkaban, Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince.
The character Harry Potter annoys me a lot, so do things like all the "giggling girls" and other super stereotypical gender related things. And there are a lot of those things (especially the giggling girls) in Goblet of Fire unfortunately 🙁
My favourite characters are Lupin, Tonks, McGonagall, Ginny and Snape 😀 (Oh and Angelina!)

I thought I was the only one that wasn't too fond of Harry. I find he can be a bit of a jerk sometimes lol I much prefer both Ron and Hermione. I still like him, but he does get on my nerve.

Absolutely! Sometimes he really treats them like shit! I do enjoy their friendship though. It doesn't feel like your typical friendship that you see every where else, I really like the dynamic of the group (both in the book and on screen). One of my favorite scene is actually the added dance scene between Harry and Hermione in Deathly Hallow. I never got how people disliked the scene because they thought it showed the two having romantic feelings (I really did not see how there was anything romantic or sexual about them trying to cheer each other up by dancing). To me, the scenes represented everything about their relationship (which was always platonic), and how these two in reality have a lot in common. I wish we would have had more of those little scene that made Harry seem like a sweeter guy (he seemed to be more and more angry toward the end, which although understandable, made him unlikeable)

I really liked that dance scene as well. I didn't know people disliked but, but I definitely never thought of it as showing them having a romantic moment – on the contrary, I think it is proof of their close friendship.
