Today's Laugh

Another one for W&H cubicles and offices:

Heard in a commentary for Jurassic Park 🤭:

“So, how much do you think that giant pile of (poop) cost to make? Would you hand that off to the prop department or effects…?”

“Well, Steven Spielberg wanted everything to be real. So he fed all the cast and crew a whole bunch of Taco Bell, and then he said ‘Everyone pull your pants down!’”

I wonder how many werewolves tried this? (I'm remembering Oz saying he felt strangely full as a human after eating that zombie in the Zeppo while still in wolf form, so doing this should work.)

Seen on another site......Pretty much sums up the (slightly) older generation & modern tech.

I said to my Daughter "quick, pass me the phone book!"
She called me a dinosaur & handed me her iPhone.

So now the spider is dead
The iPhone is broken
And the daughter is furious!

I was laying down when I recalled this specific comic out of the blue. Glad I was able to find it again easy:

I wonder if Holland Manners would get him a scholarship...

I wonder if the creator here is avoiding being political, or simply didn't want to have to choose between real world politicians to use as an example...

These made me laugh.

It seems there are some Coraline fans here, so I'm adding this one (personally, I like this one better than the above, but both had me laughing):

There are some really clever lines, but if you're not that familiar with the respective series (including actors in at least one case) then they're easy to miss.

I got an email from my boss the other day with instruction for an upcoming event, and in the email she warned us because the crows outside the venue are out for blood. She told everyone to wear a hat or something and I laughed way too hard and way to long at that.

Just the idea of these murderous crows plotting to attack we clueless humans.

Kind of related, but I remember awhile ago reading that someone fed the crows outside their house and accidentally created a murderous crow army that would attack anyone who came near the house. 😂

I think problem solving tests put crows as being equivalent to a 7-year-old in intelligence. I've been warned not to anger crows because they remember faces and will consider you enemy to attack forevermore, and can get vicious.

That is so true. Back when I was hurting for money, I felt some intense guilt at vastly overcharging for dolls I made to a certain store, but later I saw them on sale as "collectibles" for over twice what they paid me (just over $100 per doll for the store), and they sold, most in under 2 months...and I got more requests for dolls at the same price (though that didn't last, but long enough to help me get through a rough patch).

Language has a magic all its own, arguably more powerful than a witch's spell (the industries of spin doctors, PR, and ads does rake in billions per year, so must be worth that much).
