Uhm, why cant a (mostly near middle aged) Bond enjoy time wirh an older warrior woman? Gillian Anderson is not a young thing either - but she has still got it! I might add Sarah and Hannah Jon Kamen to that list too.

I think it is time to rethink the leading men til you die/leading lady til 30 bs.

Edit; no issue with female independence but older women can make fabulois lovers and often have no imperative to settle down because they are done with all that. Just out loving and living life and kicking butt! I am tired of women being written out of the fun parts of the story because of being older
