I have Superbox so I was able to watch 2 of these series. The first was on Starz - Seduced inside the NXIVM cult, you might try on demand or youtube, the next one is The Vow was and still might be on HBO, the 3 one is Branded and Brainwashed on Tubi, right now. There's one more I just ran across A&E Escaping the NXIVM cult.
 
Cohen, I'm sure we've discussed before our mutual obsession with true crime, haven't we? In fact, I happen to be watching 48 Hours on YouTube right now!

As for your question, I really, really love True Crime with Kendall Rae on YouTube. You likely already know about her channel, but just in case you don't: I just think she covers cases with a great amount of empathy, and she's well spoken, and I love how she donates to help victims. Also, her videos are very well researched. She also has a podcast.

Also, have you watched the 3-part documentary series Paradise Lost, about the West Memphis Three? tThat is defiantly a case I've always been fascinated with. One of them, Damien, wrote a book that's really interesting. It's absolutely insane what happened to them, but Damien seems to have found a way to come back from it. How, I don't know. If that had happened to me, I'd be so angry and bitter.

Oh, interesting! I am fully and have always believed that her mother did it. I've watched a lot of documentaries and read a lot on this case and in my opinion it makes the most sense.
 
I finished season 5 of I Am A Killer, I always go to reddit after watching to see what they say! No stand out episode for me this time though.

Anyone watched This is the Zodiac speaking? I think it's going to be my next series, well 3 episodes, to watch.
 
Now onto season 6 of I Am A Killer, but haven't really watched anything else lately.

Anyone know any good true crime books?

Plasma mentioned some good books worth reading; a couple more I'd mention that go more into profiling/psychology behind these serial killers - 'The Anatomy of Motive', and 'Signature Killers'.

The four that come to mind as “most popular” are Helter Skelter (Manson), The Stranger Beside Me (Bundy), I’ll Be Gone in the Dark (Original Night Stalker), and Mindhunter.

Yes, but it was awhile ago. I remember the husband being shady enough for me not to believe the owl theory, lol

The private investigator thought it was too much of a coincidence that SBTC would be in two different places. Colorado university in Boulder Colorado is located a half a mile distance from the Ramsey‘s former home in Boulder.
@Bop I think the intruder brought the hairs, fibers and beaver fur into the Ramseys home on his clothing and shoes. Re: Be rested in the note. Since the Ransom Note was created from using and changing lines from Ransom Note scenes in movies then it is more than likely that’s why it ended up in the Ramsey Ransom Note.

I just saw a tweet that said JonBenet was in the Epstein files. No idea of the validity of that claim, considering the source. But I figure thats going to open all the cans of worms.

The source would have to be checked out to determine if it is credible. Over the years of following this case I have never heard of that information.

What fuels that is a cropped picture circulating on the internet and different JonBenet sites that depicts the profile of a woman bending over looking at JonBenet. Some think it is Chislaine Mitchell’s profile. It is, most likely, a picture of Patsy’s since it appears to have been taken at a pageant. Because the photo is cropped it is hard to determine the context.
 
Started watching the new Netflix Lucy Letby, documentary. The AI, digital anonymity parts are an interesting choice. I get why, as well as changing the names, so that siblings and other children that did survive are protected. However it's just odd.

I'll keep watching, as I did listen to the trial podcasts at the time, so remember it quite well.

@Cohen, I've already replied to this post, since I'm a big fan of True Crime too, but I'm popping back in to tell you about what I've listened to and watched recently.

This new documentary TV series on Jon Benet Ramsey was interesting, and does ask some new questions, and displays new evidence. I still think Patsy did it though.

Also, this episode by True Crime with Kendall Rae, is still one of the strangest true crime cases I have ever learned about. It's an older episode, from 2022, but I just re-watched it and am still so confused as to what happened to this woman, and incredulous no one has been arrested for her murder. Are you familiar with this case?
