Following on from the movie thread, what tv shows either upcoming or that you would like to see made would you like to see

I'm faithfully awaiting new Twin Peaks episodes! That's pretty much what I'm looking forwards to 😀

Otherwise I'm not sure I have anything specific that I want to see right now, that's on offer at least, but in general I would like to see something like BtVS again. I.e. something that's witty, smart and brawny 😉 Something that makes you excited! Though I get into some, I find it had to keep up an interest in most shows today, though that might just be something in me that's changed.

I would recommend you checking out Aquarius when it comes out... it takes a whole new spin on the whole thing

Ugh, David Duchovny and "the love generation" decade... sorry, but no freaking way am I watching that.

Yeah, forget I said it.. when I heard about it months ago they made it sound alot different. Reading some of the reviews, it's not really what it was described as. It was supposed to be the 'formation of the family' and I guess, reading reviews (and actually watching the trailer), it's more a typical police procedural.

Yea the Manson stuff is there but it's not the focus, it's about solving crimes, some connected to Manson.
Just heard Wentworth s3 is coming to Netflix in a week, so that's going directly on my watch list!

I'm looking forward to Season 4 of "Banshee," which doesn't start until next January. I got hooked on the show watching it on the internet, and now, as a double treat, Eliza Dushku will be on the show as in a recurring roll (whatever that means, on a show that only has 8 episodes) and Season 2 of "The Last Ship," and possibly "The Walking Dead," though I watch it mostly just because it's filmed here in North Georgia.

Beyond that, just about the only other shows that I regularly watch are "Castle" and "Hawaii Five O."

Season 2 of "The Last Ship,"
That really surprised me. I had hear very little about it at all. I saw a few episodes online and I was hooked. It was better than I expected and honestly a pretty good little show; considering it doesnt get much fanfare.

And as an old destroyer sailor myself, I find it interesting to see just how much cans have changed since my day.

Was dying to see the new Netflix show Sense8... Well now I've just finished and would very much recommend!😀

I'd like to try "Salem" and "Transparent" at some point.

Yeah, I get what you mean. It's a while since I've had that amount of excitement about a show. And when I do it tends to wane considerably.
I think the closest I got to that level of excitement was Grey's Anatomy back in its first 5 seasons. But I've never found a new BTVS (or Ats).

I'm waiting for the Westworld TV series. The movie is awesome and there's a lot you can do with that premise. I hope the pilot delivers.

So Netflix recommended Star Crossed for me. It looked really good. I did start to watch it. But I did some reasearch...and of course it was canceled. UGH I am so tired of really good shows getting canceled. I may give up on TV shows.

I've been seeing it too, but have yet to watch it. That sucks it got cancelled.
I am actually waiting for SUPERGIRL. I am a fan of DC Comics so this series is right down my alley. Hope it is not like Birds of Prey. The Flash and Arrow are pretty good. So I have high hopes

I already saw the leaked episode. It was very decent. The trailer was poorly made compared to the pilot episode. It had action and quirky comedy.
Melissa Benoit has this sweetness that is magnetic. Truly a nice actress to play the maid of might.

I dont think they have even started filming it yet. It's been pushed back to 2016 from what I hear. You might have a long wait.
They filmed the pilot episode. There's a very, very short teaser on the interent. Apparently, the studio execs were impressed, but the series is much more demanding and complex than they thought, or something along those lines, so they delayed it. At least that's roughly what one article said. There's not much to be found about the series.
I don't mind the delay. I have enough stuff to watch until then.

Edit: Here are two teasers. As I said, very short ones:
(It still says 2015 though.)

They did a Hollywood Reporter interview a week or so ago and said it was pushed back to next year as they weren't sure where to go with some episodes.
