Underworld

I've just been to see this film. I was a bit disappointed. The storyline is good, but the love interest is a bit pointless. Probably not gonna go and watch it again 🙁
 
I planned on seeing it this weekend, but it doesn't look as though it's going to happen. None of my friends are willing to go see it. They either don't like scary movies or they don't have time to go this weekend. We better go next weekend or I'm just going to settle for downloading it instead. For this type of film, you need the huge screen and stadium seating... damn!
 
That stinks. Here's a helpful hint🙁told one of my friends this earlier in the week) Just make your friend who doesn't like scary movies stand in line for popcorn or something, you buy the tickets, and just pre-occupy the person as your walking into the theater so they don't see the sign...and then when the movie starts...it's too late to leave anyway(also helps to sit in a crowded area) lol. ya never know, they may like it!

I know, I'm evil.
 
This movie kicked ass! I loved it - the cinematography was terrific. the colors are all muted so it has a real gothic feel to it. I would have liked more love story in it, and less of the token vampire hisses. But I thought it totally rocked!
 
I just got home from seeing it. It kicked ass. If you're looking for romance, don't bother. It's very minimal. Not too gory, but gory enough to satisfy goriers such as myself. It was great, not too dramatized, I definatley smell a sequal

That's why I was a bit disappointed, not that I don't like action films, but I went mainly for the romance and it wasn't well done. It did have a good story line though!!

Hey, guess what I heard on the news this morning? So far, Underworld has made over 22 million dollars. Sony Pictures decided to make a sequel and a prequel to Underworld and make the movie into a trilogy. At the moment, they don't know if the same cast is going to sign on, but from the ending, I knew there was going to be a sequel.
 
I know, I hope they do do a sequel. I was a bit confused at the end though.....this is a spoiler for anyone who hasn't watched the film....

When Selene says at the end something about being hunted, I didn't get that. Why would she be hunted coz the leader dude is now the same as Michael?

My take on that was 1. that Viktor told her the only way she'd be forgiven was if she were to kill Michael. And she didn't kill him, obviously. and 2. She killed Viktor. From my understanding, that's a big no-no. But as I said, that's my take.
