As for unpopular opinions mine are I generally like Dawn and think her addition was a definite positive for the show, I think that Buffy/Riley was a good relationship and probably one the healthiest ships on the show, though Tara and Willow were probably a match.

Me too me too - on the dawn love thing! (sorry but I get excited about shared opinions!)

Riley/buffy season 4 was such a healthy relationship. I think they were really good for each other and brought out the best in one another.

And willow/Tara is probably the healthiest ship I've ever seen.

- I really like Angel/Nina together.
- Spike stinks.
- I'm not that fond of Giles, Faith or Doyle.
- Season 6 of Buffy is the worst season.
- Season 4 of Angel is the best one IMO.
- I don't think Dawn is annoying.

the alley scene where buffy is repeadedly punching spike in the face and telling him he's nothing... it's right after she thinks she kills warren's ex girlfriend.

I get this, and I think it's probably true... but it's not funny... I didn't think any of it was very funny...

I kind of hate the scene when Willow tries to cheer Spike up about not being able to bite her. Five seconds earlier, he was trying to violently kill her and clearly enjoying it. Also it looked disturbingly similar to attempted rape, what with him pinning her down on her bed while she struggled desperately and all. So I think it's incredibly tasteless and unfunny to try to play that for laughs by having her attempt to console him about it in a way that, if taken out of context, sounds like they were trying to have sex earlier and he failed to perform.

I actually like "Beer Bad". I think it's funny.

I also like "Bad Eggs". Which probably has a great deal to do with all of the lovely Buffy/Angel snogging, though it's also worth it because the large amount of hilarious dialogue from the Scoobies.

I loathe "Buffy vs. Dracula".

I like both. But I love Woz and I hate that after 3 years of only showing interest in boys they make Willow "gay" instead of "bisexual". I know it happens sometimes (people realize their sexuality later after only dating people of the opposite sex) but in this case it felt unrealistic.

I think it's when this happens that I just cannot respect her anymore. I don't like her and remembering back to every watch I've ever done, I've never really gotten over this part. I'm always like "excuse me? When I was 8, we were so poor we literally didn't know where our next meal was coming from and you're upset because you can't afford a super expensive prom dress?? Um... it's called a thrift store. I got my senior prom dress for three freaking dollars!" And not only is it one of those stupid "rich people gone poor" cases that I really don't have sympathy for at all.. It's not even like "I got screwed out of my money" or "I made a bad business decision" or "the economy went to hell"... It's "my dad cheated on his taxes and then he got caught." And she doesn't ONCE say something like "I wish my dad hadn't done that" or "my stupid father" no... it's like she places the blame on the IRS. I feel less than no sympathy for her... I feel anger at her and her father.

I don't feel sorry for Cordelia for not being rich, but I do feel bad for Cordelia (and anyone) who is homeless and penniless at 18 which is what happened to her.

Cordelia annoys me most when she talks to Angel like she's his mother or his Yoda during Season 3 and Your Welcome. She doesn't do it all the time but every now and then she takes this "all knowing, wise one" tone with him which I find annoying.

That's because she knows him best. 🙂 Also they've been through so much shit together, and they love each other. Now, also take in consideration Cordelia's personality, she's very outspoken, speaks her mind and she's very confident in herself. There you go. 😛

- Drusilla is freaking annoying.

Most of the time I love Cordelia/Angel. I just think every once in a while the writers turn her into "Saint Cordelia" (before destroying her in Season 4 😡) and then she reverts back to imperfect but still noble Cordelia of Seasons 2 and 3.

I think Goby has a lot of people shipping Snoyce 😎 I see what your agenda is Goby😉

- I think Riley was a great catch and Buffy is the reason Briley spilt up.

- I hated Fred/Wesley. The one good thing that came out of her death/switch to Illyria was the end of their romance.

- Oz was an awesome character. I always wished we would have seen more of him.

- I really liked Kate and wished she would have stuck around.

- I liked the concept of having a God as a big bad, but I thought Glory was lame.

- I thought they pretty much ruined Willow's character by s7.

- I'm not crazy about Giles. I don't dislike him but I don't really like him either.

-I HATE Dawn. Very much. Hence the capitol letters on the word 'hate'.
-I thought that Beer Bad was really funny.
-My favorite character is Jenny, who dies in season two. Not many people seem to care about her.
-I pretend that the comic books don't exist.

- Tara is my favourite character.
- I loved Jenny, and a huge shipper of Giles/Jenny.
- Cander shipper. (Even though I love Xanya a little more.)

Me too. The social commentary is pretty hamfisted, but the episode itself was pretty funny I thought.

As for Unpopular thoughts...

I thought the action in Buffy for the most part was filler and pretty cheesy. More then once I couldn't wait for an action scene to be over just so we could get some more character drama.

I dunno about everyone else but I've always felt the action in Angel was more organic. He gets a vision, someone is in peril or there's a big bad and he has to rush to the scene to put a stop to it. There's things at stake, which makes it interesting Whereas in BtVS the action sequences more often felt shoe-horned in. Often we'd get dropped into a random encounter with a vampire/demon usually at the start of an episode complete with spinning kicks and chop socky punches. I just found those sequences incredibly dull because there was zero tension in them since you know who's going to win right off the bat, there's nothing at stake and there's no explanation for how the scene began. Its just action action for the sake of action which is just dull.

Now I didn't completely hate the action sequences and was able to enjoy them for what they were; but they were pretty much just filler to stretch the episodes out.

The older I get the more I think the Scooby friendships are actually kind of awful and more of a "How Not to Be Friends" than anything else.

- I like Harmony and Kennedy.
- I would have liked to have seen Angel/Kate.
