Tara "“ Her death was a complete insult to her character. She was warm, kind, funny, and loved by the audience. She had the sense to get away from everyone else and so remained unscarred by the horrors of S6. But in her death she was not a character, she was reduced to nothing more than a plot device, a trigger for Willow to go evil.

Of course Tara's death was a catalyst for Willow to go evil. That was the point. That is what she was there for. If Seth Green had not decided to leave the show, then Oz would have bit the dust and Willow still would have gone off her rocker.

However, Willow's path to the dark side started long before S6. Probably as far back as S1.

unlike most here I really really liked s6 and I totally got Buffy's behavior both in s6 and s7. It wasn't as if she was gonna come back from the grave and be all happy bouncy teenage Buff once again. She had lost too much, seen too much and season 6 showed beautifully that even the strongest of us sometimes gets broken and lost.

that said I did find the Troika disappointing and there were some week eps in the mix.

And gees, the speech at the end of s6 that Buff gives to Dawnie is just... gah, people seem to like it but it just makes me wanna roll my eyes and gag a little.

New controversy - I didn't hate Kennedy. I know, it's shocking, despite all my disdain for those last two seasons, the character widely detested by all, even those who like S7, did not particularly annoy me. She was slightly annoying in one or two scenes, but she was my favourite of the potentials because at least she was brave enough to do something, like in Showtime where she's ready to fight while all the others just mope about and whine. And Killow wasn't that bad either, not as good as Tillow or Woz, but still pretty sweet in places.

I don't hate Kennedy either! I actually like her. I saw no problem with her objecting to Buffy. Good on her, I say.

I like Angel S4 too.

I think the Jasmine storyline was one of the most interesting on both series.

I'm not entirely sure Angel did the right thing in fighting her.

I like Cordonnor. Ok. I said it. I do. I like that it feels so wrong, and I like that they were brave enough to do it and leave it for so long without explanation. It was incredibly effective. Perhaps too effective, judging by most other people's reactions.

I didn't like the whole "everything you've done so far was fixed and guided" bit though.

Confession: I watched every single episode of Angel when it aired and didn't get Wolfram and Hart was actually Wolf, Ram, and Hart (the animal names) until the finale when it is blatantly put out there... Oops.

well that's the thing about depression, you kind of just jump on the bandwagon of whatever comes along that makes you feel better. and it tends to not be what's good for ya:confused2:

I really dislike Faith. I always have and always will, I really don't see the appeal.

I also think that Giles is overrated.

I don't really dislike Riley. Buffy was pretty terrible to him.

I love Connor! And Dawn for that matter, and I think people are really mean to them!

I dislike Willow. Very unpopular opinion.

I love Darla, her Angel arc was beautiful!

Well yes, did you see me arguing differently? If Oz, an equally awesome character, had been killed off for the sole purpose of making Willow go evil I would have been just as annoyed.

However, Willow's path to the dark side started long before S6. Probably as far back as S1.

And I would've loved it if they had kept the theme that had been building since then, the power that comes with magic and how the nicest of people can abuse that power for their own convenience. But apparently somebody decided that subtlety was a bad thing, and that it would be better to just smack the viewer round the face with a big "MAGIC=DRUGS" sledgehammer.

Giles' episodes were always the most boring to me...

Lorne really didn't have that great of a singing voice...

I wasn't upset WHATSOEVER when Doyle was killed off...

I HATE THE WAY WILLOW DRESSES - ALWAYS

Angel really didn't even start getting good until season 4...

season 5 of BtVS was baaaaad...especially Buffy's hair/outfits...

and lastly, and this is a big one...

Wesley? yeah, i'm indifferent with him. i really could've cared less about his whooole storyline.

was that too many confessions? I'M STILL A SUPERFAN!

Oz isn´t a character for me... like Lindsey, I never remember he even existed.

I really like Angel S4 and Buffy S7.

Angel should stay Angelus longer.

I like Connor.

I hated Lindsey dying. Why was that for?

I REALLY love Lorne, but I think he was almost just a furniture during S5.

I don´t like Xander.

I don´t like The Trio and I was counting with Dark Willow.

I don´t like this habit of Whedon, always ruining relationships lol

I don´t like Bangel and I think they should never end up together.

I agree with the plot that says Gunn was just the muscle.

I was happy that Angel wasn´t thinking about Cordelia on S5. I love when Eve says he only spoke about her in the beginning.

I didn´t like Kate.

Here is an EXTREMELY unpopular opinion, that I just recently discovered I had. I think that Angel was a better series than Buffy. Maybe because I am older now. I also like more of the characters on Angel than on Buffy.

Though I ship Bangel, I also think Bander would have been awesome!

I really like Angel season 4.

I tend to like the humans more than others (vamps, demons, and so on).

Here is an EXTREMELY unpopular opinion, that I just recently discovered I had. I think that Angel was a better series than Buffy. Maybe because I am older now. I also like more of the characters on Angel than on Buffy.
I really like Angel season 4.

I think Angel is better than Buffy as well, so I don't think it's an age thing because looking at the info beneath your avatar, it seems that I'm six years younger than you 😛, and I agree about liking more characters on Angel, I found a lot of the characters on Buffy really annoying, especially in the later seasons.

Also, season 4 is probably my favourite season of Angel 🙂 but that may just be because Connor is my favourite character and that season has plenty of Connor for me to enjoy watching haha.

I don't think Wesley is THE GREATEST CHARACTER ON TELEVISION, as most of the fandom seems to believe. His arc was complex, but I was bored with a lot of his scenes when he was banned from the A-Team.
