Argh. I had no school today for Rosh Hashana, but I'm just about as I would be on a regular day. First, I had to write an essay that I'm still not quite finished...I couldn't decide what to write for the introduction and conclusion, so I took a break, and I still can't think of anything. It's driving me mad. Then, I had to help my mom cook for multiple hours (we didn't have Rosh Hashana dinner last night because my mom and her friend were busy. Speaking of which, here's a mini-rant. I hate how my mother's best friend is basically Super Jew. No one in my immediate family is even remotely religious and I'm agnostic leaning towards atheism, but we still have to make a big deal out of every major holiday. It's pointless.) Now, the whole house is filled with the very strong scent of brisket, which happens to be one of my least favorite scents in the world...it makes me feel really dizzy and sick, and the worst part is, it takes forever to go away. Yuck.
