What you say IS true, to an extent. The similarities between Faith and Wishverse Buffy come in the fact that they are both dedicated to slaying, even at the cost of everything else. However, personality-wise, I would imagine that Wishverse Buffy was very much like the real Buffy, except less bubbly and less concerned with the outside world (we get a small glimpse of this in The Wish).

For all of their similarities, Buffy and Faith do have different base personalities. Faith is loud, obnoxious, fun-loving, die-hard, stubborn, and carefree. Buffy is bubbly, adventurous, spontaneous, dedicated, stubborn to an extent, and loyal almost to a fault.

If you take the time to analyze Kennedy's personality, you'll find that she and Faith are almost identical.
 
In my opinion I don't think she was in love with him but there is no doubt that she had feelings for him. I mean she went through all that trouble to get him back from the first which meant that she did care for him and she didn't want him to die like in the finale. But in the end if it came down to Angel or Spike I think she would choose either Angel or she wouldn't choose. Because she loves Angel so dearly and she would give up everything she had for him. But I don't think she would do that for Spike.
 
Yes, SHe was in love with him. Buffy and Angel had a different kind of love ( more trust), but Buffy ANd Spike were in love, which is a wierd phrase for Buffy/Spike's relationship, but it's true! oh, and if Buffy had to choose(which if she appears on ANGEL I think thats the story), she wouldn't ( therefore she must leave L.A. and go her own way 🙁 )

straight from the horses mouth. She loved him at one point, and until the end.

She did not get to say anything back to Spike at the end of Chosen for one reason I can see: Right after he said, "No you don't, but thanks for saying it", she looks at him, maybe ready to say something back, and BAM! chaos started again, and she got scared, pulling her hand away, and Spike then told her to leave.

But that scene is still tricky.

But her quote just answers the question for me.

SpikedBuffy will probably argue back and say that she had no choice but to go 'cause the place was crashing down on them.

I'll admit that I do think that Buffy feels love for Spike and that she will always love Angel. She loves them both, but not in the same way. The question is, who is she in love with now? Hopefully, not some European guy.
 
Buffy has been scared before, people.

There are a few times in season seven along where she has admitted she was terrified about what was going to happen.
It does happen.

And I'm not talking scared like, oh I'm so scared I wet my pants. I'm talking look at her face as the Earth started shaking again and the way she jerked her hand away. Startled, is more like it. Are you happy now? Then, realization hits: holy crap, if I don't leave, I'm going to die. And then, Spike practically yelling at her to leave, what is she going to do? Stand their and twiddle her thumbs while everything crashes in around her? Of course not. She is the Slayer and it is her job to protect the world, no matter what.

The point here, is that Buffy loves Spike. ::dance::

In my heart I plead YES, YES - she loved him so much because in my heart I am not sure and I say Dunno. If I think about it any other way, I get angry and start to hate Buffy's character for being such a using piece of cr*p. I will always always think that Spike was too good for they was he was treated at the end of the day.

Exactly! I think the same thing....
 
I still say she loved him but not in the way I want to spend the rest of my life with you love. In the end I see her feelings for Spike becoming like her feelings for Xander.

I still dont see Buffy as the user in S6 since I still view Spike letting himself being used and Buffy made it known to him that she only usees him to feel and he was ok with that. Its like Spike and Harmony....
 
I don't think she loved Spike. He certainly lusted for him, and vice versa. They were friends with benefits. Something she felt guilty about in season 7, so she kept on choosing him over others.
