Was Glory a great series ending villian?

Well for me, the First was the way to go. The ultimate evil to end the ultimate show.

I think it would have been a shocker to have the series ending like that with Buffy dead and Giles killing Ben.....I think maybe it would have left a different memory of the show..overall, in alot of people's minds. I'm glad they came back after Season 5.

But Glory as a season ending villain was good to watch. Like with Dark Willow in season 6, Glory was someone Buffy didn't really defeat, she won the battle but she couldn't kill her. Glory was fickle but she held a very good tool in Ben (even though he was her biggest weakness).

Glory was a walking contradiction and a lot like Buffy in a way 🙂

Since I personally hated the half of the sixth season and all of the seventh season but I would have rather had it end after the 5th season, but that's just my opinion. I thought Glory was a great villian, yes she had a mortal side to her like everyone was saying but that was what made her so interesting, she had a lot of character.. although I did love The First and he would have been a good series ending if he hadn't been the first season 'big bad'.

I can't say that I would've actually LIKED the series to end there (unlike a lot of fans, I really enjoyed Seasons 6&7, though I do wish the Buffy/Spike thing had involved a bit more romance and a LOT less mutual abuse), but it did have a kind of closure for everything that went before that. Possibly Joss might have gone forward with a second show, maybe an earlier redemption/return for Faith in a complete new series, one that might still be on the air even as we speak. We can only speculate...
