Congrats.
A persons actions are dictated by their needs, and ultimately that desire to be happy.
When people speak of 'evil' it is from a subjective feeling of pain and hurt, and inevitable death. To remove suffering, this evil, is again because of the desire to be happy. Searching for happiness in whatever form we envision is what makes us human.
Perfection, to Christians, means perpetual happiness. If we are always happy, then we have no need for anything. There would be no motivation, we'd just barely exist(probably drooling from the mouth).
Put a monkey in a box. Have two buttons in the box. The button on the right gives the monkey a moment of pleasure, the button on the left, pain.
NORMAL monkeys will press the lefthand button once, get zapped, and never press it again. It will press the button on the right for a little thrill, a single moment of happiness.
Make the monkey perpetually happy and he will do nothing.
