Willow Rosenberg
I might be just like you!
So Skip is good because he's a bad guy and someone like Cordy would be bad because she's a good guy!! I think I get it!!!

Cordelia said:How is Skip a good demon....what good did he do on the series?
LadyLavinia said:If Skip was evil, then you might as well say the same about Angel, Wes, Gunn and Fred. All three have committed some ****ty deeds - Angel's dark turn in S2, the mindwipe of Buffy and the Fang Gang, and ordering Lorne to murder Lindsey MacDonald; Gunn had murdered Professor Siedel and allowed Illyria's sarcophagus into the country, thinking it was drugs, in order to continue his legal upgrade; Fred tried to lure Siedel into Pylea out of revenge and when it looked as if Gunn was going to save him, she tried to stop Gunn; and Wes murdered Knox, shot a W&H in the kneecaps and stabbed Gunn out of revenge.
Now what makes you think they were better than Skip? Because they were the leading characters of the show, and alleged 'White Hats'? I say bullsh** to that.
LadyLavinia said:Now, you're changing the subject, to win the argument. According to the site I'm viewing now, the title of the thread is "Was Skip a Baddie"?
Skip and Jasmine are perfect examples of beings who considered themselves good and end up committing evil for what they believed was for the good of the world. They're also perfect examples of how more evil is committed by those who believe they are doing good.
Slayer said:Sorry I understand everyone else has their own opinions but I just have to give you a big DUH!
They did other things to redeem themselves. We've saw each of them give up countless things in their lives that made those things simply disappear (Well to me and other fans.)
We had seen the Fang Gang do great things, but Skip, nope, nada, nothing! All we know is that he was somewhat hired by her highness Jasmine who likes to eat people.
Angel may have done some shady things, but the mindwipes actually increased the happiness and or lifespans of the people that he, oh how do you refer to it as, oh yes, "mind rape" (Which I consider to be utterly untrue.)
Wes and Gunn did things out of spite and revenge, but humans make mistakes, but they seriously made up for these things later on. And I don't think Fred did anything wrong, because she wasn't actually going to 'cause the Professor any damage, just send him to a different dimension, like what he did to her.
It seems like your trying to grasp some understanding that demons could be superior to humans or in fact that humans are on an equal level. But I just don't buy in to it!
They are heroes. Granted heroes do bad things, but they don't live normal lives and I think in a sorta karma-esque type thing, they have all more than made up for some if not most of all the things they have did. Sure Gunn killed a Professor, but he helped save the world. A lot.
ANGEL
You said it yourself, you were there. (walks up to Skip) Guiding Cordelia to her ascension, seeing her off to a higher plane which is exactly where this thing needed her to be to make its move. So, I'm thinking either you've been played for a dupe like the rest of us or you've been in on this from the start, Skippy.
Skip laughs nervously. Angel joins in the laughter, sarcastically.
SKIP
Angel, buddy, whatever's going on, I'm telling you true... (raises his forearm in front of him, triggers a dagger to be released from his armor) Not a dupe.
FRED
(holds an open book in her arms facing out, walks toward Skip) Sphere of the Infinite Agonies. Every second a lifetime. Should be able to whip one up in, um... twenty minutes.
ANGEL
Everything you know or she starts whipping.
SKIP
Hey. (holds up his hands) Whoa. I'm just a merc. I go where the deal is and not getting stuck in one of those? Bargain. (beat) Anybody got a cig?
SKIP
End of the world, cupcake"” (walks toward Fred) for you.
What was that you were saying before? Something about infinite agony? Hmm?
Gunn strikes Skip across the back with his sword, but to no avail because the armor protects him. Skip lets go of Fred and pushes Gunn down.
SKIP
You mind? I'm trying to work here.
Now, you're changing the subject, to win the argument. According to the site I'm viewing now, the title of the thread is "Was Skip a Baddie"?
(And BTW it was a reality shift, not a mind wipe)
Fat Elvis 007 said:How is he changing the subject? He was asking you what good things Skip has done, which directly relates to whether or not he was a baddie. You still haven't answered the question.
Every single thing Skip has done on the show has been for an evil purpose, thus making him a baddie. Angel is not a baddie because almost everything he has done has been for the greater good. I don't always agree with his methods, but he is not a baddie. YOU were the one changing the subject by even bringing this up.
THANK YOU for mentioning this.
LadyLavinia said:yet Skip is condemned as evil, despite the fact that he believed his actions would be for the good of the world.
Angel atones for his actions, he seeks redemption...as do the other members of the Fang Gang...that's what makes them Champions and Skip a baddie.LadyLavinia said:But that did not make him more evil (or even less evil) than Angel or the others.
They are condemned...when Wesley stole Connor - he was condemned by his friends, when Angel allowed Darla & Dru to kill all those lawyers - he was condemned, when Gunn found out he was responsible for Fred's deat - again with the condemnation...LadyLavinia said:Angel and the Fang Gang are the good guys. The "champions". It is only natural that they are not condemned for their dark deeds.
Bubbles said:He was a baddie but he was kinda funny.
But he fought Angel and threatened to kill Fred...he's a definite baddie.
And more arguements from LL? I don't wanna start something but I'll just say the Fang Gang were condemmed for their evil deads. They had to live with them, unlike demons who get out the easy way. In death
Slayer said:Wow Bubbles, thats such a good thought. Angel suffered far more from living than he could ever have from death. They all live with their pasts hanging above their head along with the weight of the world on their shoulders, but yet they strive to save a world that would condemn them or conduct research on them in a lab.
