I'm with you there!!! GLORY GLORY, MAN UNITED!!!
Im sorry, but i cant share in your happyness. Im a celtic supporter and really dont like alex fergeson.
But still better than chelsea winning it (hehe)
As long as The Hoops win league im happy

I always thought that was mad how pretty much the whole of Ireland support Celtic and still have a Premiership team too. Hoops fan or not, still doesn't stop me loving United.

And yes it is waaaaaay better than the boring blues wining it🙂

Im scottish anyway,(i dont support any prem teams) i moved here last year, and i couldnt believe it when i came over here and everyone supported english prem teams. i know 1 irish celtic fan(and i aint kidding). I dont have a problem(honestly) with whover people support but it amazes me when alot of people over here dont like seeing england national team win at anything but want english clubs to win stuff??? It confuses me.

But well done to Man U, winning a league aint easy(last day of the season AGAIN)

Seriously? you only know one Celtic supporter? Now THAT I find mad! Everyone I know supports Celtic. Supporting the Prem teams I guess comes from so many Irish moving to England during the 40's and 50's and plus any decent player that we ever have plays in the Premiership.

The National side thing is all down to the history. It's mad but I doubt it will ever change.

Of course there would be a thread... So this time I´ll do it in swedish. Grattis till ännu en Pl-titel!
Yeah anyway, you can enjoy the next few months until the challenge is on again. Celts have only 1 more game(waaaaa) then its two months cold turkey from football. im dreading it.

Some of us can look forward to Euro2008. 🙂

That was a low blow😛

Actually it would be stranger if Ireland were in the finals. I'm so used to them not qualifying I think it would a shock to the system.

And like Kin said, there is no reason to go cold turkey. Quality football is quality football at the end of the day.

ha ha ha, yeah, aint trying to sound like a suck-up but i do want sweden to win Euro 2008.(henrik larsson is just GOD) and really though, apart from like, Germany and Italy, who is better than Sweden?

Portugal have a real chance too though. Some quality players.

The Euro's always cause upsets though. As Greece proved a few years ago. It's anybody's tournament.

Krama for Greece!!! :)
My bet is Germany to win though, they(over the last couple of years) look VERY strong.
Im so annoyed Scotland didnt make it though. We were so close till that hun abandoned us and left alex mcleish in charge(i know, i know, who is alex mcleish)

Are you kidding? Most teams are better than us. And just so you know it (if you didn´t already) Henrik has quit the national team. Our hope lies with Zlatan.

Our goalkeeper was the one letting in 8 goals today. Our best player in defence is Olof Mellberg who plays in the wrong position at Aston Villa. Our midfield should consist by Sebastian Larsson (from relegated Birmingham), the always injured Freddie Ljungberg, a star from the swedish league Anders Svensson who couldn´t hold a place at Southampton some yeras ago and the key Tobias Linderoth from Galatasaray. That´s of course if he isn´t injured.

Back-ups in midfield are Kim Källström, who plays at Lyon but struggles to find form in the national team and "Chippen" Wilhelmsson that didn´t managed to take a place at Bolton this season.

Forwards are as said Zlatan, who has been injured since march and the out of form Johan Elmander from Toulouse. Back-ups are Rosenberg from Werder Bremen who actually is in form but rarely finds it in the national team (Time for the break through?) and oldie Markus Allbäck.

Yeah, I´m really positive about our chanses. But at least we are there. And who knows, we can be the new Greece.

Sorry if I hijacked your thread, Keanoite. It´s about your triumph.

In fairness though Alex Mc Leish is a hell of lot better than Steve Bloody Staunton! I mean he hadn't even been over an under age side and the FAI gave him the Ireland job! I mean we lost to Cyrus! most of their team are only semi-pro! one was a post man and all of our players are supposed to be premiership pros. At least Scotland gave it a bit of a go. Ireland were a disgrace.

Edit:

Yeah we all went a wee bit off topic there. Feel free to start a Euro 2008 thread lads if ye want to keep up the conversation.

I wanted to say karma obviously!well more for you! xD
Hey kinslayer, i know henrik quit national football BUT, he is SUUUUUUUUCH an absolute legend of a human being that i want Sweden to win it for him. Now, about Swedens chances. Lets look at the teams who (some) would class as better than Sweden. Germany, Holland, Spain, Portugal, France and Italy. (am i missing any other team?) OK, Holland Spain and Portugal have some good individuals but are MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR underachievers, i would say, in the grand scheme of things, crap. France are 50/50. So really Sweden the only teams Swede should be worried about are (ecspecially) Germany and Italy(although italy like france can be average)

Arsenals problem is, they are one of the biggest, richest teams out there but are too, far too hesitant to challenge Man u and Chelsea in the transfer market. Its all good finding undiscovered gems of european football and bringing in youth team players but they got to splash some serious cash on a couple of BIG players if they want to win.(if i had to pick an english team to support it would definetly be the gunners)

I don't follow any foreign football teams, but still congrats 😀 so, Moscow is next? Well, I kinda hope they win, as it's like our second hometown (my parents both studied there, my brother was born there, my aunt and her family live there)

And concerning the Euro 2008: I of course hope Germany wins 😛 which is possible as our team really is pretty good.
Though i do remember how Italy kicked our arse back at the World Cup. During that time I was staying in England, at this language school, and we were only 4 Germans there. Loads of italian people, plus all the France, England and Spain folks who all supported Italy as well. Oh, was I down that night. And everyone else was having parties at the beach. The next day my English teacher welcomed me with the words 'I'm sorry' and told me a friend of his was staying in Germany at that time and told him he had never seen so many sad people outside at once like after that game.

oh-oh, i got a feeling chelsea are going to win the champions league this years.....
i cant pick who i want, its the best of a bad pair id be choosing.
Hey Keanoite.
Remember Nakamura do you? Last year? champions league? ha ha. ;0)

Just incase any Americans dont know who CELTIC(pr. sel-tik): king : are, they are from Glasgow and are the greatest team ever to play football. thank you very much.:cheering::cheering::cheering:

Oh, you fool. The "real" reds are the greatest team ever. We have won the Pl, well never. But next season will be ours. We´ve been saying that for almost two decades know, but this time it´s gonna happen. 😉 Well, that is of course if our owners don´t kill each other first. Stupid americans!

Edit:

Sorry, it should say PL (Premier League). I forgot to push the shift-button on the L.
