What Are You Hoping to See in Buffy Season 8

What I have seen of the second season, it is a huge improvement. It's still not the 'greatest show ohmygod everyone must watch', but it is getting better. Baltar is a fantastic character. Its his character that has kept me interested, because some of the others are pretty damn annoying.
 
I get the feeling that you will really get into BSG with the third season. I won't say too much about it but I reckon the tone of the show will suit you a lot more by that point. And yeah, Baltar is a very good character.

Anyway, back to the Buffy stuff...
 
I'd kind of like to see Wesley... could be interesting because he's well dead, but also not in the comics proceeding from Not Fade Away, could be a cool mislead of some kind (Plus I just <3 Wesley). Although I guess Angel characters can't be used too much because they're owned by different people.
 
How is it that nobody said they want to see more Andrew? I'm shcoked. I love Andrew and I hope he's in at least a few of these.

Also I want to see Xander and Buffy hook up. Yea yea I know, Angel blah blah, Spike blah blah. I want to see that, after Anya's death, Xander goes a little dark. He's not that happy and sarcastic guy anymore. Losing Anya scarred him bad. He's still on the side of good, he just does it with a little more angst in his life. I don't even want to see a relationship between Buffy and Xander. I just want to see Xander have Buffy, if only just once. If anyone here is a fan of the show Alias then think of the one episode when Sydney and Will finally hooked up (Season 3 Episode 10:Remnants). I want it to kind of go like that. So go ahead, all the Bangel and Spuffy fans can start hating.

lol that reminds me of Xanders fantasy in season 2, I forget which episode. When Buffy has got sick of Angel's bad boy ways and Xander takes her out for coffee and she cries 😛

what ep is that? i'm drawing a blank here and that rarely happens, especially with season 2
 
I'll have to watch season two to figure it out... I know it's pre-Angelus. Or I could just search through the transcripts, it's pretty funny.

It will be wonderful to find out her whereabouts, I was hoping for a Buffy Movie to deal with it, though.

Can't agree more. Potentials were major distractions, they should focus on Buffy or Faith or Buffy and Faith. I want to see more of Xander too, somehow, his role was reduced in the last two seasons and I didn't like the outcome. Angel and co should make an appearance or should be a part of the storyline.

same here. im very curious now. if you do find it kanga, make sure to tell us! 🙂 ive looked around a bit, and i gotta say...they certainly do a lot of coffee/dating and/or coffeee metaphors on buffy :silly:.

same here also. i want to see him get some interesting stuff to do, and i want for all the people that do not like him for what he became by the end of the show or something to start liking him again 🙂.

Yeah I also agree with all of these points. Xander did get a bit of a raw deal later on in the show. I'd like to see Buffy fight Illyria perhaps on accident, that'd be cool. And ofcourse I also want to see Spike/Angel/Gun... um zombie Wesley maybe 😛 Buffy/Angel smoochies.. the usual.

And I cannot find this quote from Xander where he talks about taking Buffy out for coffee and she cries!!! Argh I know it happened, lol... unless it was one of my Buffy dreams, I'll have to put season 2 in and watch.

I second to anything you said till Willow. Cause I didn't get your stress on her. That and the fact that I can't stand Willow/Kennedy.
 
Oh we are sooo close to this we don't even realize after both series has ended. There cannot be any hints in Season 8 to what happens at the end of Angel Season 5. Remember folks, Season 5 is running at the same time that Season 8 will be running.

So while the comics are going on about The Slayers and Buffy in S8, Angel will still be well and kicking running Wolfram & Hart. Remember?
 
Actually Buffy season 8 takes place around a year and a half or more after the end of Season7. Dawn will be in college, so yeah, it's after the events in Angel season 5.

Really? The first article I read was three months later! Now I double checked, and it looks like there is a story line going on around the end of Angel 5...so I guess story checks out. My bad peoples ... and I said it with such convinction. Darn.

Good thought originally though.
 
I can see that making sense...complete sense because at the end of Angel S4 there was no hiatus between S4 and S5.

And that makes sense as The Girl in Question is like the 4th last episode. Ok, that's still crazy timing how that worked out.
