Hey, the thread limit was reached in the original "What are you reading", so I thought I'd kick us off on a new one. The other one was a lot of fun.

I just finished the entire Geoff Johns run of Green Lantern up to Blackest Night, and I'm going through the sister book, Green Lantern Corps, now. It's been a while since I've read them and they're awesome 🙂.

Book wise I'm about half way through Clash of Kings, which has been a lot of set up so far, but still good. I loved Game of Thrones and the show is amazing, so I'm still really digging it.
 
I have actually started reading again lately. It's been such a long time since I've really read much of anything. I used to be an avid reader and I must say that I quite missed it.

At the moment I am reading:

The Lord of the Rings (Been a good while since I've re-read this one. It has always been my favourite book.)
Tina Fey's autobiography, the name of which escapes me at the moment.
Ultimate Iron Man graphic novel, which collected the first series of Ultimates IM and the second series of Ultimates IM.

I should be starting on others here soon, as I currently have The Silmarillion, The Children of Húrin (Both of which I have not read, but have always wanted to.) and an absurd number of graphic novels awaiting me. I also want to re-read The Hobbit before the first film comes out this December.

Also: I'm trying to get my mom (who thought the films were just 'okay') to read Lord of the Rings...But the only way I think I will be able to do that is to make a trade with her and read Twilight. Which I absolutely 100 percent refuse to do.
 
Still in the same seri, I am now reading Stefan's Diaries: The Ripper Is Damon Jack the Ripper or is Stefan just stupid enough to believe his brother has really gone that far...? XD
 
I'm actually reading Crime and Punishment. We have to read this for school. I thought I'd be more into it but maybe it'll get better.
 
I've been burning through the entire Game of Thrones series. I'm just past the mid-way point of Feast for Crows, and while it's by far the most different and unique of all the books so far, it's been really good. They've gone into the Iron Islands and Dorne quite a bit, two places that were barely explored during the first three books. I have absolutely no idea where the series is heading now, after everything that went down in Storm of Swords.
 
I just finished The Lost World by Michael Crichtion. Don't know what I'm gonna read next yet. There are still some Michael Crichton novels that really interest me that I haven't read yet. Maybe I'm gonna buy Sphere next.
But I'm also currently reading some old "Alfred Hitchcock presents" book. It's a short story collection.
 
I just finished re reading the Wheel of time series as well as the new Percy Jackson book "Mark of Athena" which just came out. Now im going back into A Dance with Dragons which I put on hold to re read the Wheel of Time series.
 
I have the terrible habit of starting to read one book and then starting another and end up not finishing either one haha.

At the moment I'm reading the Ultimate Survival Guide (since I'm interested in that sort of stuff).

Not sure what to go for after this.

I've got most of the Survival Guide series. So good.
A Mighty Heart: The Brave Life and Death of My Husband, Danny Pearl - Mariane Pearl and Sarah Crichton

The book is so well-written that I keep hoping she'll find her husband alive...but unfortunately that wasn't the case. 🙁
 
Currently reading Dante's The Divine Comedy. Yeah, that's a big change from Stefan's Diaries 😀

I've been a bit hit and miss with books recently. I've always been interested in history and as such i always went towards World War encyclopedias etc. Then probably over the past 4 or so years i started reading more auto-biography's, (I'm a huge Chelsea FC supporter) so i went with Didier Drogba's,Carlo Ancelotti's, and other none sport such as Rodger Moore etc.

I've always tended to read more individual books rather than a series etc.
 
I may buy The Walking Dead series. Think there's 3 books (one of them is about to come out 25th October,not sure on the 3rd). The first one got really good reviews.
 
"Buffy - The Gatekeeper Trilogy", "Charmed: Seasons of the Witches", and I'm probably going to start my yearly reread of Stephen King's "Carrie"
 
Has anyone read The Casual Vacancy, J.K. Rowling's new book? I've bought it, but I haven't started on it yet.
 
The last book I read was 50 Shades Of Grey. I liked it but I haven't read the 2nd book yet because I feel like it's just going to be the same thing over again. I can't really get into reading anything right now anyway, I'm too excited for the new Buffy book coming out in December...that will be the next thing I read 18421983294 times. 😀

I always start reading a book and after reading the first half or so, I stop reading. I don't know. I just seem to forget about it and suddenly, after a few days, weeks or sometimes even months, I feel the urge to continue reading it 😀 It's a weird habit.
