@November the first episode was a pretty poor sadly. Will probably check out another one. The US show had a bit of a slow start of course. It’s not going down very well Down Under from what I hear 😁

Almost onto Season 3 of Longmire.

I’ve really loved this show and am so happy the big election storyline is over. It’s not that it was bad, per se, but it made Branch just insufferable. Bailey Chase is really great on the show when he’s given good material to work with, but I’m not sure a multi-season storyline about his campaign is the best way to show what he’s capable of. He’s better when he’s out beating the streets and getting some detective work done.

Sadly I know Branch’s time on the show is about to come to an end. Iirc he gets shot up at the end of Season 2, put on administrative leave as he digs into a deep conspiracy about what really happened with Walt’s wife, and his fate is left somewhat ambiguous at the end of Season 3. Wondering if he sticks around afterwards, as that’s when the show was lost from AMC and moved to Netflix (which I wasn’t watching at the time). Everything from the end of Season 3 onwards will be fresh and new

Wynonna celebrates by dancing. I can get with that. The getting drunk and kissing random guys? Not so much. And... got to the good part.

Maybe i need to rewatch this to keep me in line
Already almost done with Longmire Season 3

This season has been superb. I forgot about the “Dark Branch” storyline and the like, so it’s all really great and refreshing to watch unfurl.

There was definitely this feeling about halfway through Season 2 that the writers ironed out the conspiracy behind Walt’s wife, Martha, and her murder in Denver. This season has really upped the ante on it and feels way more focused than the first two.
