The Vampire Diaries .
TVD has been my Moby Dick for years . I have never been able to pierce the 'verse and I've tried plenty 😛 This time think I've cracked it 🙂 . Late into season 1 now and not losing steam .

Later I'm switching to season 3 of Killjoys . Got the DVDs in the post today 🙂
 
Angel season 5

I just skipped right to it. It's amazing at how well it works as a standalone, at least in the early eps where I'm at (they explain what needs to be explained). I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I'm enjoying it. I thought I'd skip over a lot, but so far I haven't done that at all! (I probably will in some later eps.)

And I'm reminded how I got to appreciate Spike again, and how Fred became my favorite character (while I liked her before, she was at the bottom of the list for liked characters until she defied Jasmine, and then in season 5 she rose to the top of the list and stayed there).

I expect season 5 was a lot more fun to write for and act in than earlier seasons.

Both Angel and Spike benefited so much from not being around Buffy it is a shame that Buffy did not to get to benefit in the same way.

MAFS s12. I wasnt going to, but then I read an outrage article and wanted to join in. It is actually off to the sort of start that will hook me...

Started this last night, will finish it tonight. Do have vague recollections about this case.
 
The news. Ooooh there is war brewing. New naval training school. Now it all makes sense as to why we have such a huge population boom. Sending their kids off to war.
