Sarah's new show is getting closer and closer. I'm a little scared, because she's back on tv after so long, after the last pilot didn't get picked up. I'm just hoping it does good. And I'm hoping to enjoy it.

What are your expectations from Ringer?

At first, I was happy Sarah is coming back to tv. I really didn't care about the show. But after some time, after all the previews and stuff, I really got into the show.. and now, I expect from it to take me breath away.

I actually have pretty high expectations, since seeing the trailers.

It looks like a really really interesting show. I already and dying to know what is going on and I haven't even seen an episode yet.

I'm looking forward to it but the way they cancel shows so quickly I'm trying to not get my hopes up. However, I thought Bones would get canceled too soon and look where it is now.

I'm really really happy Sarah Michelle Geller is back on TV. Ringer looks very promising, I'm a bit upset it isn't supernatural TBH but I'm liking the show already after watching the previews. I'm still not 100% convinced this story we have right now has potential to last for more than 1 season, it feels alot like a one-shot story but I'll judge after I watch the actual episode. I can't wait ^.^ Oh and SMG looks amazing!!

To be completely honest, I don't feel the story is anything special. I'm more excited about SMG than the actual show, but i'm still going to watch it when it airs and i'll make my final judgement after I see it personally

I thought the same, but apparently when they went to Sarah with the project they had the storylines mapped out for three seasons.

I'm really excited about it. I'd watch Sarah in anything, so I'm just happy to see her on television again. I am slightly concerned about how it will be received though - it has got a lot of hype early on that it needs to live up to, both critically and ratings-wise, and the storyline has the potential to be confusing for casual viewers. Plus, it's on the CW which, as far as I'm aware doesn't have any other programming in a similar vein - (I live in the UK, so I don't know this for fact, I'm just going from what I've read online).

Low, next to none to be honest. But that's a good thing. The higher expactations I have, be it about a show, movie, music or event, the more likely I am to get disappointed. I will watch some episodes hoping for, but not expecting, the best.

Trailers are a tricky thing. They can make out something to be awesome or fun but in the end you wish you'd never seen the trailer since you got so disappointed. Sometimes the trailer doesn't come close to give the product a fair chance. As can a name. 😉

I'm actually excited. I think it's a good concept and I am excited to see Sarah do TV again. Honestly though, even if I don't love it as much as I think I will, I'll still watch because like everything I love just died or is about to die.

I'm excited and worried. The trailer looks kind of movie like to me and I'm wondering how the story will work in a series format... and I'm hoping the story won't be too complex (thus alienating viewers) but I do think it seems intriguing and I of course love the idea of SMG on TV again 🙂

My expectations aren't high. The trailer was nice, but like others have said, I'm not sure how they plan to make that story last more than a season. I just hope it's bigger than what we've seen so far. 'Cause the basis is not that special.

From the previews I've seen, the show looks like it's going to be totally kick-ass. I can't wait to watch it. It doesn't really look like something I'd normally watch, but I'm going to give it a chance. It looks like a more scandalous version of "Alias", from what I can tell.

I expect it to do well and it looks good. I expect it to also last since newcomer Nikita was a hit this seems kind of similar in ways.

I just really hope that it is as gripping as it has been built up to be. They (cast, showrunners, etc) talk of how intriguing the mysteries are, and how it will leave you guessing. So I am hoping that the mysteries of the show actually do that, and it isn't like just tooo much confusion.

I'm curious to see what it is.
Would've checked it out because of SMG no matter what but the preview I saw looked pretty good.

But beyond that I don't have any expectations at all really.

/SK

My expectations are that they will drag this story out until it no longer resembles what it was when it started; ensuring that it also saps itself of any potential it had to be a hit by refusing to tell the story the way it should be told.

I'm not either and a lot of my online peeps have the said same. In some ways, it doesn't look to me like it should go beyond one season. The rumour that they have three seasons planned is a little worrying.

But despite all my cynicism 😛 I think the show looks alright and could be good if it stays true to itself.
