So lately I've been thinking I need to do something to unwind from the days stresses. I've decided to go for some adult (don't laugh) colouring in books like these;

Mandala colouring in book

Gothic colouring in book

I've had to buy some pencils as well as Abbs ones are special and are not to be used by me apparently! So they get delivered today and we shall then see how it goes! Normally I rely on here and tv etc but I need something un techy to do. I also want to start knitting and relearn that as something to do (don't worry I won't force you to wear anything! lol).

What do you to to unwind that is not tech based?

You do know that there are at least three Buffy themed 'Adult Colouring books' out there? ;) Just sayin :)
My girlfriend often does adult colouring books, although not as much as she used to, but she still enjoys it.

It depends for me, often say on a Friday night if my week at work is finished and I've been working away, coming home and playing with my dog for a while etc usually relaxes me (while she gets hyper lol). If the weather is alright we will usually drive to the lake or somewhere for a walk etc.

I love reading but really struggle to find the time to properly get into a book now, may have to be my retirement plan..lol. I try to go fishing as well but again, time restraints, and lately been trying to get back into gardening but that's mainly a summer thing for me at the moment.

As in general, listening to music or watching a movie/series is usually my go to thing (I know you said none tech lol) coming on here and catching up etc. I don't usually go out as much as I used to so most of my weekends are usually just trying to relax and recoup before the next week at work.

Finger kniting 🙂 Its really easy and versitile and not as dangerous as knitting needles for me hehe I have also done a few marcame type garden decorations. I am not so patient with crochet and colouring. I prefer to draw.

I love the beach, such a destress when I can get there, failing that - Watering the garden at sunrise/sunset always relaxes me.

I bushwalk a lot but its a daytime thing. Before bed is bunny snuggles and tuck in, a hot shower for me and my oil regime and stretching. No phone/tech between shower and bed time.

If I can get it, I'd smoke a bowl and dance under the moonlight 😛

I hate to say this as it'll probably come back to bite me, but what is the bowl made of that you smoke?
Non tech based? I don't understand the question. lol

Should probably find something though. I have noticed that the latest tech pisses me off more and more.
Things get more and more advanced and gets more and more buggy. The more it wants to help you the less it does what you actually want.

Problem is though that I'm not very artistic and gets bored by just being out in the nature and stuff like that.
I like to think, solving problems. That works great for me to unwind. I enjoy that.
My plan is to go back to simpler, more basic tech. Think that would fun and good for me.

Drive. Not to work but fun. Flying down the road going 90 in a 55. Upshifting and taking corners at breakneck speed getting some nice torque vectoring action going then downshifting and blasting out of it. Yeah man.

What is your vehicle of choice?
You guys got some good hobbies. Lately my downtime is spent watching YouTube and playing computer games. Lol. Non tech related? Sometimes I go hiking. Or do arts and crafts. I do have guitars but I haven't played in months.

Boardgames are great fun! Abs could even join you in that @Nix. Charity shops usually have them much cheaper than new. I love the firefly board game but it is loooong. I have a few easier types, 'ticket to ride' is all ages friendly. I used to play those music quiz show games with family too.

Speaking of music, I play keyboard aswell but its really something I can only do when the mood hits, sort of like drawing. I wont do well or enjoy it if its forced. I am so lucky to have so many options in my home.

I LOVE driving. My car is a nice type to country drive in.

Clubbing baby seals is rather relaxing. 🙂
I bet they party hard too! just being underage though might make it harder to get in the good clubs.

@Ethan Reigns of choice is difficult... too many to choose from. I did get to use a friends Panamera GTS for a day ride. That was quite nice. I didn't drive it as I would have liked as A- it was not mine and B- how much it cost scared me into driving more "normal"

I'd go with the knitting for unwinding, though when the knitting unwinds it's back to stress! (I think am funny)

I'd also recommend taking up an instrument. If you're that way inclined it can be super satisfying, especially once you're able to create your own music. I adored playing bass, for years and years, but I finally had to admit my hands were too small to play without having to get a custom built. That's just me though, I have freakishly small hands.

I'm trying to get away from the computer more too, I bought a puzzle book the other day, ok it was mostly a wordsearch one, but I'll work up to crosswords! I also am trying to read more, do more arts and crafts (not spend too much buying craft supplies on amazon)

However I do want to get back into making art on gimp too, I just need some more inspiration for it, and time!
