This just tells me that no BtVS personality has ever discussed that topic on a disc or in interviews.
99% of BtVS fans come up with their ideas from what they hear Whedon and co. say. Just look at my Dracula post and the comment about Drac being a rock star. The same thing was said by one of the writers on a season five disc.

I am definitely one of those and I KNOW i've never sat through an entire commentary of an episode BECAUSE when I watch the show, I understand WHAT is trying to be done in most cases as the team have done a good enough job.
