Snyder. What a guy huh? 😀 I always found him very funny and a much more interesting principal than both Wood and Flutie. I wish that we had got to see more of him after season 3 and that his character had gotten a chance to evolve more. I thought it was interesting the little we got to see of his personality in "Band Candy". 🙂

And I love Armin Shimerman! I've recently started watching Star trek: deep space 9, and he really is a wonderful actor and (which might now show that much in Btvs... 😀) seems like a great guy.

What do you think of Snyder? 🙂

I really enjoyed his character. He was fun to dislike and made me laugh. I always wondered how much his character knew about slayers and demons; for some reason I always had the feeling that he knew far more than he lead on.

He's like one of those characters you love to hate. He was an awful human being and unbearable but he was a great character lol
 
Snyder is a great character, he's one of the reasons why Band Candy & Restless are classic BtVS episodes.
As Xfivebyfive said he isn't likeable but you still want to find out more about him, his story is a definite slow backburner, from School Hard of Season 2 right up to the end of season 3 with Graduation Day II.
Despite the clear backburner position, in my opinion it is these very backburners that were fundamental to creating the immersive atmosphere that BtVS became famous for.
 
I loved Snyder and the actor! I always thought one day he will have his big role like the major, unfortunately he didn't. Anyway his appearence was always fun and interesting! I miss him in the show!
 
Snyder was awesome, one of my favorite Buffyverse characters. People need to remember his character was meant to be an jerk, whenever he is on screen you're supposed to assume he is going to make things difficult for Buffy. What really makes him great is how funny he was, Armin Shimerman is a very talented actor that balanced the two sides very well
 
He is a rodent and obnoxious, and disgustingly honest. And that's why he's so hilarious and one of the best characters on Buffy IMO!

Snyder was SO much fun. I was sad to see him eaten. 🙁
 
I love the actor and I love Snyder, he's such a wonderfully bitter little man. It's hilarious. Also I liked that he represented a sort of 'real world evil' that Buffy just had to learn to deal with and adjust to rather than just crush, kill and destroy 😉

Lol, just thinking about Snyder makes me smile, he never failed to make me giggle. Though I must admit, as much as I love his bitter little self and all of his remarks, I loved it when Joyce got Buffy back into school and rubbed his face in it 😀
 
Snyders great! he was a little annoying familiar face that i enjoyed watching 🙂 was quite sad to see him eaten 🙁
 
He's an ass, hilariously awful. Haha the only time I really get mad at his character is when he forces them to be in the talent show (I just wouldn't let that happen...if I really don't want to do it, how the hell can you make me!? grr. In reality I would have submitted whilst glaring) and when he tells the cops that Buffy's "trouble". Ugh!!! The last one always pisses me off. I have seen Becoming Part 2 so many times but it never fails to tick me off :angry:.

Pisses me off too!
But to be fair, chances are he did this because he has an alliance or something with the Mayor who wants Buffy out of his way.

He said hello in Restless, but yeah, for the laughing effect, just thinking of Buffy seeing him and thinking "oh, no, he's back"...

Really funny character! I loved how much of a jerk he was with Xander and Buffy. 😉 When he goes ''I have not only the right, but also a nearly physical sensation of pleasure at the thought of keeping her out of school. I'd describe myself as tingly.'' ... I was laughing my ass off! 😀 He so wanted to get punched in the face!

In fact, this is out of topic, but I have to applaud Buffy for resisting the urge to punch people quite a few times (see Xander in Becoming & Dead Man's Party). Her self-control was pretty good. 😉

He didn't literally say "hello", he apeared in Xander's dream.
If he would have actually said "hello" to someone it means it's the end of the world. Again.
