What Do You Want Spike To Be In Season 5?

I think it would be cool if the amulet somehow permanently changes him, putting its scrubbing bubbles power in him so that when he comes across a vampire he can shoot the sunlight directly out of his body. Not human, but I guess he couldn't technically be a vampire either, huh. Anyway, his badass attitude could still be in place which is important for making fun of Angel. Maybe he could keep his super strength somehow. It could be a mystery to be solved on the next spin off featuring...Spike the Scrubbing Bubbler!
 
vampire he doesnt deserve to be a slayer or human or human yet atleast and he shouldnt have a soul cause we dont need 2 in one show now do we and he should have to rely on the amulet in order to live for awhile since that would be intresting
 
It would be cool if the amulet somehow extracted his soul, leaving him the vampire he was pre-chip, since that's gone now.
 
Personally, I think he should just stay dead, I've had enough of Spike to last me the rest of my life, but if I had to pick, I would say vampire. he doesn't deserve to be a human, I mean, look at Angel. Angel has been fighting on the side of good, trying to redeem himself for years, and still hasn't became human, Spike just doesn't deserve it yet.

Plus, Spike should definately not be a vampire slayer. It would just be too lame for Spike to be one, and anyways, wasn't Connor like the male equivalent of a vampire slayer? I mean, he is human with super strength and speed, so it could be true, right? Anyways, back on topic, also, If Joss made Spike a vampire, it would totally go against what Joss created the slayers for in the first place, for their to be a strong and powerful role which is taken by a woman, in order to show that a woman can be strong too. a male vampire slayer would totally go against this notion.
 
Here's what I'm hoping for:

Angel Season 5 episode 1 begins with the dust settling over the Sunnydale crater at twilight.

Two figures materialize like they were beaming in from the Enterprise.

One is Spike the vampire. The other is William. Spike can't eat William, because William has the amulet. It protects him.
 
vampire slayer would kinda be cool.... KINDA... I don't know... I'd hafta see if they could pull that off... but if not still a vampire.
 
I think Spike would make a great slayer. Just as long as they don't just make him another Angel. More like Blade 🙂
 
Vampire. Being a human would be too lame and he doesn't deserve it. They are not going to make him a slayer.
 
A soul connection to the senior partners, he would be restricted to the whiteroom as a corporeal form but could leave in non-corporeal form.
 
Earlier in this thread I jokingly suggested you could have two spikes, one good, and one evil.

As I said, I was just joking. I've rethought it. I think it could actually be done. Stay with me. Here's one way it could be done.

Angel hears a fuss in the lobby of Wolfram & Hart. He's told to ignore it. He investigates the disturance in spite of protests.

He discovers William at the front desk demanding to speak to someone in charge. William has no memory of anything that's happened to him since he met Drusilla. All he knows is he has the amulet. It led him to Wofram & Hart.

Angel is of course immediately suspicious. Adding to his suspicions is the news a serial killer is on the loose using Spike's M.O.

It turns out the amulet has separated the demon Spike from good William in the process of it's "cleaning" of the Hellmouth. (Remember we never actually saw Spike turn to dust. We only saw what looked like the beginning of the process.)

On discovering both Spike and William now exist, Angel is presented with a dilemma. He can merge Spike and William to Spike's original state, leave things as they are, or he can play God and kill the demon half of William's human condition in Demon-Spike.

I've seen stranger storylines in Angel.
 
I agree with Prio Motu, i think Spike should stay a vampire if they bring him back coz he hasn't earned the chance to become human yet. Angel has been dreaming about becoming human for years and I think it would be cruel if the amulet somehow changed Spike human coz Angel wanted to wear it and Buffy told him no. It would be a twist though if Spike was to get the shanshu coz they did just fight this end of days battle.
Anyway, I can't wait to see what happens.
 
I would like him to still be a vampire, but I have a feeling they are going to make him a human. I just think that turning Spike into something that he isn't, would just be too weird and it wouldn't work right with the whole scheme of things. Also, I don't think that Angel would have such a good, well funny, relationship with a human Spike, or vampire slayer Spike. It just doesn't seem right to me!
