What does your real name stand for and if you changed it...

I couldn't rep you Frenchy, but you've got a pretty name (the real one).. (I don't speak French though so I'm not sure I'd pronounce it right.) And it's really cool that people actually call you Faith, hehe..

he he, thanky eponine! The thing with the real one is that it's too long, & some abbreviation people make of it are... dubious, lol. & yup, at first it was odd, but now I'm very accustomed to people calling me Faith!

the meaning of my name is uncertain, it could me several things.
it mean 'summer' or 'to harvest.'
it's be used by several famous queens and some saints.
it's also my grandmothers name, spelt differently.

it just isn't me. i'm not sure what my name should be, thank god my first name is not my middle name. my father wanted to name me my middle name but when i was born my mom named me and gave me the middle name that my father wanted.

my middle name meaning is also uncertain but could mean 'sea of bitterness,' 'rebelliousness,' 'wished for child,' 'beloved' or 'love.'

Ok here's where i reveal my christian name.

My christian name is Lindsey and it means Linden trees near the water, and my middle name Aiden, which i can only find the male version of that spelling, means Fiery

I like my name, but if i could change it i'd either change it to Aiden, Cassandra, Olivia or Samantha.
 
Well, my name is Katelynn (which is of course a derivative of Caitlin) which means Pure....two 'n's if you please...I hate when people think I can't spell my own name. I do love my name but...

But if I could change my name I would change it to Vivianne. I think it's pretty and it's from "Vivian" which means full of life. And then my nickname could be Vivi...and there wouldn't be nearly so many of those. I've had at least one other Kate or Katie in my class every year for the last 14 years.
 
My real name is Lisa, which is short for Elizabeth which means "my God is an oath" or "my God is abundance. When I was a kid I didn't like my name at all, but I never had any other favourite names that I can recall anyway. Now I'm used to my name, and wouldn't really want to change it. Though I did change my last name to my mothers maiden name a few years ago, and it surprised me how fast I got used to that..
 
My real name is Victoria which is Latin and means 'Victory', although everyone calls me Tori, which is Japenese and means 'Bird'. I'm not sure what I would change my name to, but I really like Faith which obviously just means Faith and Trust. I also like Megan (Greek, meaning mighty, strong, able, pearl) and Grace (Latin, meaning grace, blessing)
 
Same as Epo's. Nice "God took pity", perhaps I should make my friends call me that instead. That can be my gangsta name GTP.

Anyone knows what Petrine means? All I know is that it's a Danish name, but that's where my knowledge ends.

I'm named after a Saint Deaglan, a 5th-century missionary to Ireland. It might get me into heaven if I'm lucky. :demon: The translation of Deaglan into English is Declan (which is my name), which means full of goodness.
