What episode made you fall in love with your 'ship?

What episode was it that made you fall in love with your favourite ships? For everyone from Cangel's to Tillow's, Spuffy's to Bangel's.

wow!very nice question but it is a hard one!
As you all might have understood i am Bangel fan!The episode Angel of season 1 convinced me(from the very first minute of the episode to the last amazing minute with the cross sign to Angel's chest) that Angel and Buffy are destined to be in love for eternity!Then Reptile Boy with one of my favourite phrases:"when you kiss me i wanna die" and Surprise/Innocence episodes!!!And i can't leave out of my list the "Amends"...there are so many episodes and really it is mostly certain phrases or certain scenes which made me fall in love with BANGEL!

The idea that Angel and Cordelia actually made each other better people for being around each other was so unique in the buffyverse that I was hooked.

Fuffy - Empty Places, End of Days and Chosen(There're not so much Faith and Buffy scenes in each episode in season 7 so I have to mention related scenes from different episodes). After Faith's back in Sunnydale as a good Slayer. I love how Buffy thought Faith wanted to take everything from her again, but then finally, she trusted her to lead. Both in the end of Empty Places and when she handed The Scythe to her in Chosen. And I love the awkward made up in End of Days. 🙂

Then, everything happened again in season 8 in No Future For You arc. *sighs*

Spillyria - Origin. When they hit each other and that line, "I'd like to keep Spike as my pet". 😛

Bangel - Some Assembly Required. At the start of the episode in the cemetery. I like how calm guy like Angel got pissed by Buffy. And it's cute because Buffy was usually the one who pouts. 🙂

Cangel - Couplet. Ahhh, Angel was jealous. And Cordy seemed to have no clue. And the end was so sad how he told her to take Groo away. I think Cordy knew his feelings at this point because he mentioned sunshine, where he can't be with her. :cries:

Tillow - New Moon Rising. They had known each other in short time, but it's clearly they're in love already. It's like they're really made for each other. 🙂

And for Fresley, interestingly I wasn't that into the ship until I watched A Hole In The World, after that I realized they were meant to be together.. so I paid closer attention to them as a couple the next times I watched the series 🙂

For Cordy and Angel it usually came down to some of the dialogue between them. I think this was a moment I thought they would be great together. Sweet, funny, caring and also showing their friendship.

Cordelia: Then what's the problem?
Angel: That I'm okay. That losing Buffy didn't kill me. That I could deal with it. In all those years, no one ever mattered. Not like she did. Now she's gone. Forever.
Cordelia: And you're still here.
Angel: Yeah. It just feels like I'm betraying her somehow.
Cordelia: No. If you were a loser, if you were a sick, obsessed vampire, then you'd go to a Snod Demon or whatever and get your heart cut out. But you're not! Cangel - Gotta agree with Wes on this one.
Spuffy - Well, I fell in love with the idea of Spuffy the second Spike saw Buffy fo the first time in the Bronze, but 'Something Blue' really drove the idea home for me. That's when I saw that Joss as playing around with the pairing, and it sparked my hope. 😉
Fresley: Believe it or not, this was a couple that took some warming up to for me. For so long, poor Wes was so in love with her, and she was totally clueless. I really liked Wes/Lilah, but understood why it had to end. Wes was in love with Fred from the moment he saw her. Probobly when they first kissed was when I realized how great they'd be together. Made her untimely death all the more tragic.
Spangel - Probobly "Why we fight" or "Destiny." Need I say more? They sizzle with raw, manly sexual subtext.
Tillow - "Hush" for sure. These two always had great chemistry.
Ozlow - They played off eachother so well. "Halloween" when Oz says, " Who is that girl?" 😉
and last but certainly not least, Xanya. Their relationship was so great. It would be hard to choose a specific episode that hooked me to them. They could have made it work, I know it. If she hadn't died.

I'm not really a shipper but since I'm a fan of Willow/Oz and Willow/Tara, I think I can post here aswell. 🙂

Willow/Oz: What's My Line, Part 2 - The part where Willow helps shot Oz open his Animal Cookies and their dialogue that follows. It's just adorable. "I mock you with my monkey pants." - "The monkey is French?" - "All monkeys are French."

Willow/Tara: New Moon Rising - While Tara is now one of my favourite characters I didn't like her the first time I saw the show. But I rewatched it in its entirety last year knowing what would happen and thus can appreciate the relationship more than I did then. And while my heart breaks for Oz in "New Moon Rising", I just love how she acts towards Willow and Oz.

'Angel'. Hands down. That sealed the deal for me anyway. I never looked back after 'Angel'.

Oz/Willow - Both 'Inca Mummy Girl' and 'Halloween' together. The fact that Oz saw Willow in two entirely different projections of herself and was drawn to both of them was so awesome. From that moment I think I realised something would happen and it would be epic.

And they're pretty much the only 'ships I really care about. I did like Cordy and Xander and I don't really have much against any others, well no, I just told a big fat lie there; there's only two I blow raspberries at. 😛

I never really "fell in love" with Buffy's relationship with Spike. but the first episode of the series that I ever saw was "Once More With Feeling." As a result, I was able to see the two of them together without any prejudice or preconceived notions regarding any of Buffy's exes. Even with the troubles that the two had during the rest of that season, it was still so obvious that they belonged together that, when I discovered that the series was in syndication, I couldn't help but wonder who those two big apes were who kept pawing around on Spike's girl. Because that's what Buffy always has been to me. Spike's girl. Anything else is just a warm up for the main event.

Bangel - I think it was the episode "Reptile Boy". The begining on the graveyard was so good, then his game face, and that scene with the coffe in the Bronze. Then, it was it for me. I knew I want to see them happy together. I dare to say happily ever after 😀

Tillow: I loved after seeing Hush. They just had such a beautiful connection, and their relationship was really what love was all about.

Spuffy: Umm, I've actually loved Spuffy since I began watching the show. And that was about 4 years ago, so yeah... 🙂

Dangel: I started liking Dangel not as a result of one episode, but as a result of many put together. Some examples include "Darla", "Fool For Love", "Offspring", and "The Trial".

Spangel: I don't actually know. I just randomly started liking Spangel, maybe because of that episode where Spike had told Illyria that they'd been intimate before? Or, perhaps in Innocence when Angel kissed Spike on the forehead... 🙂

I can't say that it was a special episode for none of my favourite ships. For everytime it's been growing on me and it definitely wasn't like I had mine decided after watching the shows just once. For Tillow I just love when Tara looks at Willow in the first wicca meeting but not like I fell in love with their ship the first time I watched it. For me Tillow have a lot of great moments but none that I can point at and say that that's the moment that made me fall for them. All I can say with certainty is that even if I'm a Cangel it's not because of Waiting in the wings.

Cangel: Dead End, when he gave her that smile and she said, "I love you", is when I first started thinking they might be developing the friendship into a romance and the interaction was so cute I jumped on board.

Everything else, canon and non, I just sort of gradually came to love.
