What episode made you fall in love with your 'ship?

Not so much with the shipping, but definitely bringing a grin on my face with some of their scenes:
Buffy/Spike - Superstar - "Sweet slayer"
Angel/Spike - Soul Purpose - Angel dreaming of Spike doings in his bed like something normal between them and with Darla's concurrently TGIQ line probably it was just one of the girls at the time (also Harmony's boy/boy/girl, the ladies surely knew what they want)
Willow/Spike - that brief sparkling moment of the Initiative and looking backwards to the Lovers Walk ones. Make me wonder about Vamp!Willow and Spike

Outside the Spike's circle is Angel/Faith - their relationship is fascinating, deep, trust beyond reason and ultimately hot.

Yup. Angel and Faith karma.
I'm a Spuffy - So Something Blue was a milestone for me. I think I was finding Riley (who was being prepped for love interest status at the time) a little flat and uninteresting. Buffy and Spike under the influence of that spell was like a breath of fresh air - hilarious and overflowing with chemistry. I loved them together, had since Becoming part two, but Something Blue just really opened my eyes to the possabilites.

My other favourite Ship is Cangel - I can't really pinpoint an episode for them. I do love it when they were kind of like mummy and daddy to Connor. And earlier when Angel bought her all the clothes so she'd forgive him (can't remember the ep.)
 
Another ship, though no more development than it got, it's really barely a row boat, that always interested me is one that barely even has a ship name: Nangel. I know that Angel and Nina really had almost no screen time together, but it seemed to me that she was so...smitten (do people still use that word?) with him, and so happy that one morning after their only night together. Their relationship reminds me of those earliest days right after Spike had his epiphany dream about Buffy, the wat that she is so tentative in her efforts to gain his attention.

(Poor explanation, I know, but, anyhow, something about them just reached out to me)

Gotta admit, i quite liked Nangel too. Its a pity they didnt do more with that 'ship.

Nina & Puppet!Angel is love
Bangel: It's hard to say. I watched the entire series over a few weeks ago for the first time since the 90s because I was wondering 'Whatever happened to Buffy the Vampire Slayer?' I was young then so I barely remembered anything.

I had already knew Buffy and Angel got together so when I saw Angel in Welcome to the Hellmouth I was like 'Gasp! It's Angel!' lol I was intrigued from that point on to see just how the two began their relationship and pretty soon I was so attached to them. I got teary/cried at basically every emotional moment the two shared throughout the series.

Willow/Oz: I knew the first time Oz said 'Who IS that girl?' they'd somehow end up together. I thought they were SO cute. Easily my favorite ship next to Bangel.

Xanya: Just an amazing couple. They seemed so odd but it was so right. I love how long they were together, they really did love each other.
 
This will take me a while...

Xanya - I'm not exactly sure when I thought 'God, they make the perfect couple' I think it was in Hush, the moment when Spike's drinking blood from a mug, and Anya's lying asleep on the sofa, then Xander comes in and thinks Spike's killed Anya, then he starts beating him up, until Anya stops him and they kiss. That moment was just so...I was amazed by how Xander was so defensive, and that's when I realised they made the perfect couple.

Tillow - I think around The Yoko Factor. When I realised they were properly together, I was so happy, and I just hoped their relationship would live on.

Spuffy - I'm not sure. I think it was around Crush? It was some point in season five, I was in awe to realise Spike loved Buffy, and I just really wanted her to love him back.
 
XANYA: for some reason its always been The Harsh Light Of Day. I just loved Anya chasing him around, not giving up for noone. And the scene when Xander turns round with the juice and Anyas dropped her dress, lol, i knew they'd be perfect for each other.
TILLOW: its either Entropy or Seeing Red, the scene when they make up and Tara says something like ''shut up and kiss me'' or something.
 
I became a diehard Fresley shipper when I saw "Billy". At the end when Fred goes to Wesley's apartment and he's so traumatized at having tried to attack her, it just broke my heart and showed me how much he loved her. And how she waited at the door to see if he would come back out showed me she was waiting for him to make a move... Awww. 🙂
 
Spuffy: Spike reappearing in S4 sort of put the idea in my head, Something Blue sparked it, confirmed in Out of My Mind when Spike has the dream about Buffy.
 
Bangel: Becoming part II was the first ep I ever saw. I caught the last five minutes and have never looked back since 🙂

Cander: Well What's My Line obviously started it but it was probably Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered that confirmed it for me. I still maintain that they would have been incredible together post-Chosen. (If she wasn't in a coma that is 🙁)

Woz: They are just the cutest. I liked Willow a whole lot more when she was with Oz. Innocence was the ep that started it though. The scene in the van. Oz is adorable.

I'm very much of the old school with my shipping 🙂

Just saw your comment. I guess it depends on finding Xander or Spike attractive. I'm one of the few who isn't attractive to Spike physically, but I find the character so enjoyable and interesting. Xander, on the other hand, is the kind of guy I usually get smitten with. Dark hair, board shoulders, nice hair and lips. I actually started watching the show 'cause I thought Xander was super hot. :lmao:

But Spander is a very interesting concept to me because of the dynamic. I'm not that interested in Spangel, I find it too easy to happen, plus two vampires, like you said in another thread two humans is not interesting. I like human/vampire relationships more because it has more conflict. 🙂

I cant remember the name of the episode but its in season three when Angel pretends to turn into Angelus to trick Faith its at the end when Angel asks you my girl and Buffy says always. It just reminds me that them two are meant to be together.
