Heretic (2024) - 8.5/10

A really tense, and sinister horror with fun mystery elements, and sharp dark humour. Hugh Grant was perfect casting, Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East were both really strong too (BTW Thatcher sings the cover of Knocking on Heavens door during the end credits). The only thing is maybe it got a bit carried away with some of twists (but then that's my problem with a lot of modern films). Also the Spiderman gag was really funny 😀
 
Twisters C Tried too hard but results lacked any weight at the same time; horrible characters (weak characterizations of original Twister characters). Pale imitation of Twister which was actually scary, entertaining, has emotional depth and is very rewatchable- I never need to see Twisters again.

Night Swim A one of the best I've seen in recent years ;unique and I appreciate more psychological horror

In a Violent Nature B Generic slasher, not the worst I've ever seen though- I already forget the plot

The Slumber Party Massacre C- Pretty terrible; absurd unnecessary nudity- I get it's the slasher genre but this is borderline soft porn and the story is just as light/shallow

Lisa Frankenstein F literally one of the worst movies i've ever seen. What's with zombie movies trying to normalize necrophilia?? SICK. I want my zombies chasing people and eating brains ala 28 Days Later, Dawn of the Dead etc.
