What if Cordy was there?

What do you think would have happened if Cordelia was there when Wesley found out about the prophecy and took Connor. Would he have told her about it?

Yes, I don't think Wesley could have kept it from Cordelia, sometimes their friendship felt downplayed but to me they seemed really close. And Cordelia would, no doubt in my mind, have told Angel... and we would have had a very different season on our hands.

I think that's why Cordy was 'kept away', she would never have allowed all that to happen.

Yeah, I'm sure Cordelia would have told Angel and things would have happened differently. Just goes to show things are always better when Cordelia is around 🙂

If Cordy had been in town when Wesley found out, I do think she would have sensed his fears/concerns and he would have told her the truth. Once the two of them found out the truth I think Cordy would of made Wesley dig deeper and try and find out more about the prophecy - in doing so Wesley may have remembered that not all prophecies come true and that they don't tell you everything.

I doubt that Cordy would have kept it from Angel unless she was truly afraid for baby Connors life. Even if Cordy went along with Wesley's plan to kidnap Connor, her being there that night would have changed things. There is no way she would have trusted Justine.

I'm not sure if Wes would've told her. But I'm sure she would've found out and swiftly told Angel. She trusted Angel's judgement and never would've thought him capable of harming his son.

I never understood myself why Wesley didn't inform Angel as soon as he found out. I mean, did he really think that if Angel knew about it, he would've stuck around and run the risk of hurting Connor?

I was wondering that when I watched it! I'm sure the whole thing would have turned out okay, but I think they had to get Cordelia out of the way in order to allow Connor to grow up.
