What if Tara came back as a Whitelighter?

What do you think would happen if, after Tara died, she came came back as a whitelight on either Buffy or Charmed?

I've always kinda liked the idea of Tara being on Charmed as a whitelighter. 😀

It makes me wonder if Willow and Tara could carry on their relationship with what happened at the end of S6, and with Tara being a whitelighter. That'd be really interesting to see, for sure.
 
I think buffy and charmed are the same universe, becaue Pru says "wheres buffy when ya need her" when they are in a cemetery looking for something.
 
I've never watched charmed, but whitelighters sound very interesting. Seems like something Tara would fit perfectly. And then Willow and her could have some kind of connection.

I think it'd been cool if Amber Benson played a whitelighter on Charmed 😀
 
If Tara came back as a whitelighter I'd be happy she and Willow would have more of a connection, and in that book Queen of the Slayers Xander saw Tara all glowing white and heavenly. Xander told Giles about it and Giles assumed Tara was a higher being.

A guardian angel for witches seems like something perfect for Tara - not to mention we'd see more of her 🙂

oh, nice! I own the book and read some of it, but it was so damn bad that I didn't, probably, reach that part about Tara.

However, I wouldn't like it if Tara were to be back in any form or show. Enough with the coming back to life storylines. She's nice, but she should stay where she is, and we should let her rest in peace.
 
Tara died a human death by human means. I think to bring her back in any way, shape, or form would undermine what Osiris told Willow, and lessen the severe impact of her death.

Not that I wouldn't have loved to see her in Conversations with Dead People...

White lighters aren't resurrected people. They are guardian angels basically. THEY ARE DEAD. It's perfect for Tara.

Her death is final. If Willow got to see her again, even as an angel, I feel it would detract from what Osiris told her, and from the severe effect Tara's death had on Willow.
 
I dont think it would take away from her death, her death was pointless! It was only a means to show Willow go evil, which we were all shown for the past two seasons that she had the potential to do. I think Tara coming back as a whitelighter or the Joss equivalent of it would be beautiful, but what I want is for Tara to just come back. Joss can come up with a way for that to happen. Like maybe Tara earning it by being a higher being or something other then just Willow performing a spell and taking her back. Tara didn't need to die, and Willow doesn't need to spend forever without her soulmate.
