What is the story behind your username?

1. My username is my nickname with 'ieh' stuck on the end. I don't even know why. My friend Charlie had a username somewhere else that was 'Charlieh' so I made mine Bexieh to match. In some places it's Bixieh though, which is my cats name with ieh on the end 😛

2. Never had any other usernames on here but elsewhere like mentioned before I've used Bixieh a lot!

3. My real name is Rebecca but I mostly go by Bex!

1. "Wiley Dairy Gnome" is from the episode "Living Conditions" when Buffy explains the missing milk to be from a wiley dairy gnome... I just chose my username to be that because Living Conditions is one of my favourite underrated episodes. 🙂

I've told this story before... but here it goes again.

I was at a family dinner at my grandparents' house and my cousin decided to tell my sister and I the 'real' story of how I came to be with our family. The story went like this: One day Igor (my cousin) was looking through ebay and saw an ad for a hobo named Zobo. That was me. My buy it now price was listed at a penny. After reading the description he thought that was too much, but he was feeling generous so he decided to buy me anyway. When I got to this door on August 19, he realized how much he didn't want me. His cousin Maya's birthday had just passed a couple weeks before so he decided to give me to her as a late birthday present. She was too young to take care of me, so my parents too control. They changed my name to Zoà« because they didn't think "Zobo" was a respectable enough name... they took me to the doctor who guessed my age was about a year older than Maya... August 19 became my birthday and the birth year they gave me was 1991 because Maya was born in 1992. And that's how I ended up with the identity I have now. So zobothehobo is my 'true' identity as told by my cousin.

I chose my username because enemies is my very favourite episode of Buffy. I've never had another username and I don't think I'd consider changing it either (mostly because I can't think of a better one). My real name is Linzi. I get called Linz for short and I hate it being shortened to Lin or Liz.

Well the first part of my username is my nickname which was given to me by a old friend in school when I was 11 everyone had a nickname so he shorter mine and da ta! the second part is cause I love Paramore and also I got it from being crazy so my friends went AmelRIOT 😛

I'm brand new here I use to just stare at this forum without creating a profile but I use amelriot for 5 years but before that I was called punkprincess please don't make fun of me >.<

Well when I was 18 year olds I was in this intense music scene where everyone knew each other and gossiped and the same people were at the same places all the time. In the end I had been dumped and some girls were being bitchy about it so decided to take a break from all the shows and the bullshit. A rumour spread around Perth that I had actually died, so I changed my nickname on myspace (yeah, remember that?!) to Cait Aint Dead so I could dispel the rumours without actually having to talk to anyone.

I've been caitaintdead ever since and it was the first thing that popped into my head when joining up here.

My real name is Caitlin, but I am most CERTAINLY a Cait thankyouverymuch.

So as you can see it's spelled - Taake - and unlike what some believe it's not pronounced Take but 'Sarah' ... I know right, weird huh?

Real name? Ugh, well I suppose I won't cry if anyone calls me Tess but I'm not a fan of it at all truth be told so I prefer odd and random nicknames being used for me, I have an endless number of those 🙂


It is possible that this whole thing was a fabrication of my imagination. Possibly - maybe - my username was stolen from a band I like and never really considered that the word might be hard to pronounce 🙂

So I wanted to change it to something Faith-oriented as I was in a clique on there called the Misfits [since we loved Faith, shipped Fuffy, HATED Spuffy] and so FaithsFollower was born.

This was my one and only username on here.

Real name's Mandie. Then I decided to shorten my name further and came up with De [as in De from Clueless; LOVED her].

I actaully have three online usernames.
My primary (VaderSpike) is obviously in reference to my two favorite fictional characters: Darth Vader from Star Wars, and Spike from Buffy.
I also sometimes use VaderSpike24, which is basically the same thing except the 24 is in reference to my favorite athlete, Nascar driver Jeff Gordon.
My third username is Darksyde367. This has multiple meanings hidden inside it. 'Darksyde' referes to the 'Dark Side of the Force' from Star Wars, and 'the Darksyde' the is the name of the Predacon ship from the Beast Wars Transformers franchise.
Finally, the '367' represents the '3 seasons of Beast Wars', the '6 Star Wars movies', and the '7 seasons of Buffy'.

Valjavertjinn is a combination of three names from two of my favorite non-BTVS fandoms: Valjean and Javert from Les Miserables, and Qui-Gon Jinn from Star Wars. I used to love the latter to pieces, and Star Wars introduced me to the idea of fandoms in general.
Javert is a near-maniacal French police inspector. I have a Javert-like attitude toward grammar mistakes, and my status and user title are based off of quotes of his.
However, most just call me "Val." 🙂
