To the possibly offended germans. Wesley didn't say that you are unfriendly. Just that swedes are a lot friendlier. Big difference. Just see how all us swedes on the board act. 😉

Thanks Wash! I wasn't saying Germans were mean, but lord Swedes were very helpful, the once noticed I had the map upside down, I was a little to busy staring at her beauty.

Nah, no offense taken, it ain't so far from the truth. Germany (not without reason) has the reputation of a "service desert". Salespeople here can be quite a shock to foreigners who're used to the polite "the customer is always right" attitude common in other countries. :blush:

And if you are any indication, Wash, then Swedes have such a high standard of nicety and helpfulness that hardly any other nation has a hope to catch up. :hug:

Hmm...I beginning to love Swedish! I wish I knew my Swedish family!
I have French and Italian in my ancestry, but mainly Italian.
 
I'm actually like 11 nationalities in total, not counting American. My mom is German, Austrian, Irish, Dutch, and Scandinavian countries and my dad is British&Scottish, Irish, Spainiard, and maybe Greek. But I'm white and pale, and my dad jokes around and sometimes calls me a Dutch pastry!

My nationality is British.

My mom's English and my dad's Scottish. I don't know anything about my family after my parents. I have no idea about any other ethnicities throughout my family or ancestors, which is annoying because I'd love to know.
 
I was born in the US, but I'm half Sicilian (my mom's parents were born there), and then a mix of German, Irish, Scottish, and Welsh on my dad's side. Unfortunately, since I'm Italian on my mom's side, I have some stupid common white-guy's name. *sigh* Life isn't fair 😉

Same story...my Mom is Russian, but of course I have my Dad's last name, which just sounds way too German
My mom's also Austrian and Swiss, and anything close to German because she's mostly German. Also, my dad is Greek and Turkish too and he's got really tan skin, and I'm a bunch of different nationalities.

even Swedes have problems sometimes getting one of my last names right, it's tiring 😉 (cause it's not a hard name)

You're joking, right? Anything with a "th" in it is hardly ever pronouced correct here. 😀

A certain action/comedy actor regularly gets called "Will Smiss", "Smiff", or, worst of all, "Thmis" in our TV announcements. :lmao:
