I just finished watching this 5-hour-long version of Jane Eyre and I liked it better than the book. That never happens!

It was a 4-episode mini-series from Masterpiece Theatre... it came out in 2006-2007. I liked Ruth Wilson as Jane. Also, I liked Toby Stephens as Rochester. I really didn't like his character all that much in the book, but I found him more agreeable in this.

When you know what your favourite film is, and you've not watched it in a while but don't remember all the tiny little nuances that make you love it.

Ironically, the film I'm on about is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which is y'know sorta what the film is about.

I love the film so much, I might even go to bed and watch it again right now.

I went over to my friend's house yesterday to help her with her little sister's 16th birthday video that we're making her. Her mom, on greeting me, smiled widely and exclaimed,
"Ah! My third daughter!" 😀 Haha, I love these people. I'm also going over there again tonight for the 4th (and as it turns out, I might even be staying the night since my dad doesn't want me on the roads tonight with all the drunkards)!

A few days ago me and my husband travelled to look at the apartment I was going to live in in the town I'm moving too. It was kind of disgusting, but I accepted that because of the housing company said they were going to take care of everything. But at night it turned out that the whole place was filled with vermin - bed bugs! They crawled up on all our things and where really everywhere. By that time it was the middle of the night and we had planned to spend the night there. The town we live in is like 20 miles away. There were now busses leaving the place, so we had to stay in the disgusting vermin filled apartment all night. I have been so sad these last couple of days and haven't known what to do, the contract on the apartment I live in now ends last of july and it's really hard to find apartments in the town I'm moving to, it's a housing shortage and one of swedens largest cities. So, needless to say, I have been very worried and sad. And today, just a while ago, one of my dearest friends called me and said she was looking for room-mates and asked if I wanted to move in! I'm so happy! Not only do I have an apartment, I get to live with my friend who's super fun and nice! YAY!

Lots to be happy in various ways about just now. Mellowly happy about my youngest being nearly potty trained and the eldest loosing a milk tooth for the first time. Scared and happy about myself having found a new job, as a science teacher in high school.

I'll preface this with why what I'm going to say makes me happy, but it's a downer thing, so I'll keep it at 5 words or less: Out. For. A. Walk... Bitch. ;D
Just kidding. Well, sort of. One sentence then: I have pretty severe rheumatoid arthritis so I walk really slowly and awkwardly.
Now to the happy:
Today, in my half hour to an hour of walking, three different people that I don't know offered to help me.
I have to admit, I hate that people think I'm in such a state that I need help (I hate that I'm in such a state that it seems like I do), but while it's a little embarrassing, it does mean a lot and it makes me glad in my heart to know there are still good people in the world. 🙂

Laughing at my friend's new favorite meal, and he's serious about it too (!!), which consists of tuna, peas, mushed up bran flakes and mayonaise - this all goes into the same bowl btw. Ugh, I'm shuddering just thinking about it again. lol, people are nuts 😉
